I saw the notification for receiving a Trixie Award today, I was pretty surprised I was nominated for anything.  Thank you to the people that nominated me in the first place and all those that follow my CSL CJ.

Congrats to all the winners and looking forwards to being out of the WIP stage in 2018.

Currently the ST Challenge awards are still a work in progress. Once all 3 Seasons have their medals migrated and assigned to each recipient, they'll be returning in full force. The plan is also to have the entry linked or embedded in the reason when hovering over. The same also applies to MOTM and EOTM awards prior to 2011. They'll be back. :8)

Like the other awards, the listings will then be visible on the category index.

And that's really good to know, thanks! *:thumb:

Congrats to all the winners!!  I saw a lot of talented names I recognized.  Thank you to the CJers for the inspiration.  Thank you to the BAT and Modders for the new stuff to really customize our cities.  You guys keep it interesting.  Thank you Simtropolis and the administrators for staying up and running.  It's been a couple years I think it's time for me to donate again.

Lot Editor and Plug-in Manager Forum Archive 2016
This thread contains all of the stray topics created in 2016 in the Lot Editor and Plug-in Manager forum. This thread serves to condense those topics into one topic before merging into the new SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop forum.
However, all of the posts from the original threads are merged chronologically, which means that if two threads were posted in during the same time span, their posts will be mixed together, making it harder to read. To help with this, the title of original thread has been edited into the original first post of each thread.

      Lot editor problem
      Hi,
I created my first simple building according to the BAT essentials tutorials and tried to put it on a lot with the Lot Editor.
It's a 1x2 tile building. But I cannot place it correctly on the lot (no matter if it's a 2x3 or 3x3 lot:

When I try to place it at the road in the right window I can move it to the road but in the left window which shows the result it's in the backwards area. And this is indeed the final position after saving and testing it in the game.
When I turn the building around it's in the middle of the street when I move it to the forward part of the lot:

An additional problem is that the Lot Editor creates a lot with nonsensical values for the Zone Types: 0x04, 0x05 and 0x06:

Of course I can change that and then I can plop the building in the game but this values I think should not appear in the first place.

How can i make a ploppable construct like a growable?
      Hello,
Can anyone help me with the question above?
If u didn't understand, its like this,
when u find your plugin inside the landmark folder, u select it and when u place it in your city, it just appears wid some dust coming out.
I want to know, when u plop the plugin from the LM menu, instead just appearing, i want it to start constructing wid some crane on it..
I had seen this in the "Eclipse tower BAT" which is found on the STEX

Trying to get here, this topic, I got 2 or 3 script error messages, like this:
(Tried to up load a pic of it, and got a " There was a problem processing the uploaded file. Please contact us for assistance.)".
Then I wonder if the majority of medals aren't showing:
      Same error as above.
Anyway, are they related? My comp gets sluggish, and eventually gets hung up. No CTD.

      General Feedback Thread -

To help pass the time until the Awards Ceremony, here's a place to share your experiences of the new Trixies format.
What went well, and how can they be improved for next year?

As you're likely aware, this Trixies introduced various changes. Not only being the first time multiple years (2015 & 2016) were combined, but notably nominations were accepted in a special forum, allowing you to post and edit them in private. Based on your ideas, the Default Awards List was also created, and intended to provide a suitable baseline to cover the wide range of site contributions.
In summary, here's a few possible possible topics of discussion:

      Award Categories
Total available default awards: 101 Custom Content: 34 City Journals: 40 Community: 27
Too little?  Just right?  Too many? Spread between categories. Coverage of types/themes? Any confusion or conflicting awards? Did the descriptions help or hinder?

        Nomination Process
How did you find it compared to years gone by? Were the instructions clear and easy to follow? Was it helpful to edit and view your nominations? Any issues along the way?
Duration of nomination period: 23 days (including the 2 day extension). Too short?  Just right?  Too long?

        Trixies Build-up
Interviews To what extent were they helpful / enlightening? Types of questions asked? Format / presentation. More for next year?
Content lists (2015 / 2016) Did they help with your decision making? Were they a useful reference? Should all content have been included in the lists? Grouping per author or per category?
Community discussion How could this work better in future?
Anything else which could be done in build-up?

        Trixies Promotion
Too sparse?  Just right?  Too excessive? When did you first become aware of the Trixies this time? How useful was the info banner at the top?  Should anything else have been included? Were the countdown timers helpful? Visibility of the Trixies forum. Should any other banners have been added? Homepage features -- were they useful or too repetitive?

        Anything else?
        Post away!
We're always looking to improve the Trixies, and this was really a learning experience for everyone. Hopefully it worked well as a comeback after being absent for such a long time. But like anything, there's always room for improvement going forward.
So if you've any comments or suggestions (even not on the above list), big or small, please post below and we'll take them into consideration. Feel free to post multiple times in this thread to your heart's content.
And of course, you don't have to answer all the above questions -- they're just pointers.
      Thanks!
