A Music Update From Dane

Impressive!  Composition for a game is not particularly easy, so what you are doing is quite good if somewhat unpolished at this point.  Keep on keeping on.

It would be interesting if we could get sheet music if Citybounders spend a little extra.

This is fraught with copyright problems.  I have a pretty good annotation package (MuseScore) which will do that, and especially if connected with a midi interface.  Composing without a midi can be a real drag.  On the other hand if you already have an annotated score, it could be transcribed to MuseScore for some nice printing.  It will also output a score in any computer format you want with respect to the sound from *.wav to *.flac.

My game crashes about 5 minutes into loading a map even on vanilla (-noWorkshop -noMods). I'm guessing it has something to do with my RAM based on similar posts, but  shouldn't 8gb of ram enough even for the un-modded game?

Two different authors have had their assets break in the last 24h after trying to update them. I wonder if CO changed something?
      broken satellite dish prop: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=904028991
      broken ferry: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1111278454

In the main menu when I went to "ASSETS", modtools spat out an Image Error. And C:S showed wrong thumbnails for those assets.

anybody know what may be going on?

I frequently run walking or biking paths next to roads, painstakingly aligned for aesthetics w/ MoveIt. When I want to change the road type, or even simply change the network skin, it destroys all of my nearby paths. Is there a way to update a road type non-destructively? This has been a nuisance for a year now and I guess I finally feel like posting about it.

I've had to either a. rebuild everything that it destroys, or b. drag stuff away from the update in advance, and then drag the stuff back. Since my stuff is usually heavily layered, both of these solutions suck. Do you guys have any ideas?

Well this little DLC snuck under the radar and well it was just released.. lol  Cities Skylines: Concerts DLC, apart from new a radio station, you also get Concert venues and new Concert related ordinances..  This will be the first of the many mini DLC's for this game that piqued my interest so I bought it and it is not too bad cost wise..

      And the patch notes..

I reckon that anyone who knows me and knows what I do has a pretty good idea that I've commissioned many, many pieces of art over the years.
For a new project I'm working on, I am might be interested in commissioning a piece of music for it. My searches for people to take music commissions, however, show prices that frequently run in the hundreds or thousands of dollars for something a few minutes long. I'm not looking for anything massive or commercial here. This is a personal project for which I receive rather minimal donations.
If anyone can help steer me in the right direction, towards some affordable music commissions, that would be nice.
