Old computer died. New computer built. Can now run Cities: Skylines. Yes, I know I have some unfinished SC4 assets remaining to publish. Here's my first try at a historical build, based on a Northwestern American port city.

Take a look at this project I am just starting on a custom map; I may decide to release the map at a later date possibly.  It's based on a real-world place (I'll let you choose a name for something in the city if you are the first person to correctly guess what real-world place this is).  Since I'm really getting into Cities:Skylines now, I am planning to start a CJ around this map in the near future:

Thought I'd show my latest. haven't posted here in a while. This city is very much a work-in-progress and is in the +300,000 range. I want it to be a European-type city so I've put the kibosh on the high-rises(except for tall apartment complexes).

Built this over 3 days. It's quite an ugly city but it functions quite well. Over 312,000 residents and 88% traffic flow. i just happened to take screenshots the moment a death wave hit so ignore the skull and crossbones. Abandonment was because of saturation of commercial spaces, the game slowly but surely began to fill the demand of the zones as I reluctantly added much needed industrial areas (I usually avoid it until the very last minute until it becomes a significant concern).

Sandbox vanilla mode apart from TM:PE, road anarchy, Move It and 25 tiles. Don't often get the opportunity to play this game otherwise I'd build something that's a little more flattering to the eyes. Also I'm pretty sure the game reached its vehicle spawn limit as the subway system began to act strange but not really sure.

Here are some screenshots of my city Sancta Terra, which is 25 tiles big. It took a lot of optimization of my traffic in order to not hit the vehicle and agent limits, so that I could reach a population of of 700k+. At the time of taking the screenshots, I had spent about 100 hours of play time on this city, which I had made in anticipation of the release of the upcoming Air Ports DLC

The map I used is a modified version of the map 'The Dust Bowl' that is part of the Natural Disasters DLC.
