I've placed this plugin folder which of course (as the readme file shows) it hides any water so you can place the diagonal bridges and also neighbor connections with bridges... is there any ability to where I can do the same thing but in straight bridge pieces instead of diagonal??

Two solutions;

--   in ye good ol' days people used a cheat called "setsealevel 0" to remove ingame water... when finished, exit to region and everything should be back to normal --> this option does have a habit of destroying any bridges already existing in the city :(

-- try following this tutorial

    You're right, I just tried that and it did remove all the water (which is no issue) but it erased all my in city bridges & tunnels.... :(   :(  There's gotta be an easier way to make neighbor connections by bridges, with bridges going straight across and not sideways

    The method Ro-Bo showed above can be accomplished simply by installing the DBE, dragging the Road across the emptied waterway in both city tiles, and then removing the DBE files.  Simple as that.

  • Do you meant to do this? (DBE was used).

    omg yes :)  I've been told from several people it wasn't possible.  I do have the DBE and when I place that in my plugins, it of course takes away any water but it only allows me to do bridges diagonal, not side to side like how you have yours... I want it like yours but atleast I know it's possible, I guess I just gotta figure out how you did it...

    I was trying to drag a maxis highway and not the RHW to have a neighbor connection.  Would that have anything to do with it?

    It only works if you're using a network piece that has pylon exemplars included, either in the game by default, or in the DBE files themselves.  The Maxis Highway ortho does not have pylon exemplars to my knowledge.

    I guess that's why my Maxis Highway wouldn't allow me to connect or to drag...  what is the pylon exemplars by the way?...just so I know what to look for
