Let's talk about city hall!

Share your thoughts on this building!  After all, it's pretty much required.

I wish we could pick from a few different models.  I really, really like the starter hall, but you certainly don't have it long.

I think they shouldn't make the water/sewage a utility you have to add on (the price for the water plant and sewage plant are plenty high to keep you from buying them outright!)   Unfortunately it's pretty much a no-brainer this has to be your first add-on if you're growing your city.  Sewage does NOT like multiple outflow pipes.

I would appreciate being able to build up on this one like with the high school the foot print becomes massive with all the add ons unlocked.

True, and when a region has all the addons already you still get pestered about being able to put a new one on.

You should be able to upgrade to a vertical city hall, like in LA or Houston, instead of being forced to sprawl your modules all over the place. And I don't understand why the DoE must always be a separate building.

I actually like that feature, where I live, just about every city and town has it's Board of Education in a separate building than in City Hall. The reason being a Board of Education is actually one of the largest departments in any city. I work for a City Govt (In the Highway Dept.) and our Board. of Ed is actually about 50% of the entire Govt workforce. They too have their own building a block away from our Town Hall.

But then why not segregate out the offices for every city department. The only towns I've seen with a "consolidated" city hall are the small ones that put the mayor's office in the back of the police station and hold city council meetings in the high school gym.
