No, absolutely not. We're a non-profit community, so all content is free to download whenever you like.

Though it's not a requirement, most authors will appreciate a small comment or rating.

 

However, although it doesn't cost us anything, Dirk (the webmaster) kindly pays for server and bandwidth costs, which allows files to be downloaded.
