University Problems

The city I am currently on has about 110k people in it. I have one grade school, one community college, and a university. The first two get almost maxed in students while the university never goes above 230. Is there a reason for this? I wasn't sure if I had to do one of each school or several. Any help that would let me understand this a bit better would be great!

 

 

On a side note I am currently running this city all off the power, water, and sewage of my friends city's without problems . All their departments are also sharing . SOME problems finally getting worked out!

Couldn't say for sure, maybe you need a HS?

Could be that it takes some time. Maybe the sims have to go through all the schools before they can go to the universtity.

 

Region play was working fine for me until today. I can't export/import anything since this morning.

Also check to see if you're maxed on students. When you click the education icon it will say on the right how many students being taught out of available students.

Hey all thanks for the quick replies! I was laying in bed and it just hit me like a ton of bricks. Most of my city is low wealth. I am guessing that maybe university going sims would be higher wealth. I'll have to try this in the morning! Can't believe I didn't relise that till now .

Ya I'm still confused if you have to build each school. Thanks all again!

Putting a dormitory also help elevates the number of university students.
