My props go missing when I save my game

Look at this, just look at it! Yesterday the construction crew completed this small innocent park in one of my cities. This morning I wake up and find that the top story on the morning television is that someone went into this park and chopped half of the trees down and knocked down half the park wall. The benches, garbage cans, flowers and light poles are gone as well!

On a serious note. This is quite anoying. Have I reached some kind of limit in my city on the number of props? This has happened to several parts of my city. Reopen or save and reopen doesn't help at all. I've also tried reploping another area of the city where this happened (was a 10x50 ish tile area that was "infected") all props from roads, lots and plops were missing, some lots also lacked their model buildings.

Is this a known issue? should I demolish the city and start over? (hopefully not) do I have too many plugins? (4.5 GB)

Tried with the almighty search function but couldn't find anything useful or relevant.

I just tried to find the article on Prop Pox, which is a known condition. Couldn't find it, so please wait for someone with the proper link.

First, it looks like you posted a large png image which is taking a very long time to load, so I'll just go from your description.... Have you made sure that your game's graphics settings are not on Low? This would cause many props not to appear.

Other than that, is this a fairly large city? You say it appears at random places places throughout the city but not others? Does it appear to spread? You may want to read up on the "Prop Pox". It is rare but has been known to cause similar symptoms.

Adding to CaptCity's post, SC4Savegame Explorer (Must be registered) can tell you straight up if your city is infected with Prop Pox. If it is, it becomes vital to find the cause. If it's not caused by the props mentioned in the thread CaptCity linked to, then you need to track it down and name it. We'll help, if need be.
