Re-rendering a region

I have a quick question. I destroyed a city in one of my regions not knowing it would also destroy the terrain. Is it possible to re-render the region without losing my other cities or will rendering wipe them off the map? I don't imagine it is possible to render just specific cities either?

Well, the trick here is to render the region again under another name (using a different folder). Then copy the city image file you want from the new render to the Downloads folder in the SimCity 4 user structure. You can then import the city over top of the replacement.

Next time you want to wipe out a city use CTRL+SHIFT+o (Obliterate). Keeps the terrain.
