Does anyone have or make tropical crop lots?

As a happy dweller of the tropics I want my SimCity regions to have a full tropical look--I know we have vegetation, terrains, buildings in general, landmarks and the like. The one thing we don't have is tropical crops--I'm looking for the likes of:

- bananas

- rice

- sugar cane

- coffee

- coconuts

- peanuts

- chocolate

- pineapple

- tea

- a variety of spices

- tubers (yam, cassava/yucca, sweet potato, ginger, taro...)

- other tropical cereals (millet, sorghum...)

- rubber trees

- oil palms

I'd even like to know if it'd be possible to get something like a SPAM based on tropical agriculture.

EDIT: Adding other crops that would qualify the bill:

- other tropical fruits (mango, starfruit, passion fruit, guavas, kiwis, dragon-fruit, pomegranate)

- tobacco

- beans in general (among them the soybean)

I can very vaguely remember some lots with bananas (farms?) in a CJ long ago, but I can't remember the lot or the CJ's name. Sorry! What can I say, just google and search.

- rice

There are plenty of eye-candy rice-paddies out there. I think it would be very complicated to make one that acts like normal agriculture lots.

- sugar cane

Simgoober made some and plantations.

You may also want the that complements them, also made by him.

I'd even like to know if it'd be possible to get something like a SPAM based on tropical agriculture.

Well, there is no doubt that it could be possible to make a set that replaces the crops and lots of the SPAM to something more tropical, but you would need the models for those, and most of the one you are looking for don't exist. Something is for sure, I would download it, since it would be awesome to have different choices to the traditional USA-style farms.

Ok. Although I can't help you finding these farmfields , but here are the ones that I am sure they exist, because I have them:

Banana

Coffee

Yucca

Pineapple

Sugarcane

Rice

....and maybe even some more, which I can't think of at the moment. The best person to ask this is jmyers243, he is the specialist in farming lots and also the one who made a lot of farms with these growable fields. Maybe you could search the STEX for his name and find some interesting growable farms from him. Good luck.

There's definitely banana farms on ST or SC4D somewhere. Back in 2010 I posted this picture:

It's funny you are looking for them because I lost them and would kind of like to have them back myself. But I haven't had them for years so, sadly, all I can give you is an image of what you're looking for. If your looking for palms, Goldiva has a lot of good stuff. There's also set that came out in August.

There is one other banana set, one a little less neon-ish, besides that one though, I am pretty sure about that. It was in the same set as the one in the picture.

Just a fair warning, I've been doing a more-or-less tropical themed city journal for about 2 and a half years. There is next to no tropical-themed items compared to themes like Asian and European, etc. And that's for a tropical city and beach theme, not for the banana republic style you're after; that style would be even harder. If you're trying to make a CJ from this, it should be a unique challenge, but it's obviously not impossible.

If I find something, I'll let you know, I might look tomorrow :)

Well, I managed to find these:

It includes those bananas in k50's picture.

It seems that those banana farms were made by JMyers, but up to this moment, I have not been able find the pack (no. 3) where they were included, it's the only one not included in the LEX.

EDIT: I asked in SC4Devotion for those farms. JMyers showed up and kindly gave me a link to download them.

Hope this is useful for everyone wondering what happened with his banana farms, as the explains a little what happened to them.

-Chickpeas

-Fish Farms (such as Lobster, Shrimp, Catfish for example)
