Is it possible to build bridges right next to each other?

I plan on building a RHW8 bridge, consisting of two RHW4 running in each direction. However, I was unable to build the bridges next to each other, forcing me to space them apart by one tile and making them look unrealistic.

I also plan on building dual railway bridges with no spacing between them, but so far, that has bee unsuccessful.

I don't think so.  The RHW tiles seem to have a little slop over onto the next tile which sort of makes it unavailable.  This also seems to apply to a lot of puzzle pieces.  For example, you can't put a monorail station next to a tile with a pedestrian mall.  You have to delete the ped mall, put down the station and put the ped mall back.  I think this is a symptom of filling a tile completely.  You can't do that with a lot in the lot editor, either.

For an RHW-8S bridge, you're either gonna have to space the two RHW-4s out or wait for the RHW-8S bridges to be released. Bridges require a space on either side, due to how they are handled.

As for rail, well, I'm not too sure about that...
