 I just curious!

We all know that the way to increase the population is to zone the residential area and waiting for Sims to move in;              provide them a jobs to keep them in your city.

However, What's next? I mean if the Sim living in the city and they have family, there should be giving birth right? So the population, in a matter of fact, should increase without the new ones coming in, Am I right???

Perhaps they do it in secrecy in some underground facility outside of the city tile in the spaces between tiles hidden away within the game programming, and when Residential is zoned, they appear from that space ready to move in. 3.gif

Awright you guys, that's enough.  Don't you ever look at your population by age graph?  Sims move into yoru city, either as singles or couples, with or without kids originally, and then live in the city normally.  If they don't have kids, your population will soon age out, and die off.  You should look at that chart once in a while.  Did you ever wonder why some schools lose their student body?  What do you do about it?  I generally bulldoze them, and find developiong areas to build new ones.

Your population is not static.  They will age out on you, the same as power plants, water plants ,etc.
