Hey guys, I got this and greyscaled it but its not working in the game. when I choose it and press ok the game doesn't do anything. I've imported maps before but this is my first image I've wanted to import. Can you guys help me? lol
Edit: got rid of that line on the left side of the pic.

Why don't you use the tool I introduced, FantastiCoast. It can be used as a converter and it DOES save 8-bit pngs in the correct format. You only have to save your file as bmp in paint, because FantastiCoast does not accept jpg.

SC4 does render jpgs which is why all of my earlier fantasy maps are jpg grayscales.
@ Gold_Panda94: Irfanview [an image program] can used to make your jpg an 8bit grayscale.
