This package contains four alternate background music sound effect files for the PEG Santa's Village lot. These are the sound effects that are played when you scroll near the lot... as if the music was playing from loud speakers in the Village... not the game's default background music.
      The four files are:
1.PEG-MTP_SV-AUDIO2_GM-JB.dat *Swing version of Jingle Bells by Glenn Miller
2.PEG-MTP_SV-AUDIO3_CB-LFC.dat *Looking for Christmas by Clint Black. Not very upbeat but it sure is pretty.
3.PEG-MTP_SV-AUDIO4_NSP-SR.dat *Sleigh Ride by the Nashville SuperPickers. Yee Haw!!
4.PEG-MTP_SV-AUDIO5_JTTW.dat * Joy To The World  (Instrumental)
The install will place all four files into the default PEG Santa's Village folder. These are Highlander files... "There Can Be Only One!
You must remove which ever AUDIO files, including the default AUDIO installed with the lot, that don't want to use. You can easily sample the various songs by just switching the files.
**This file currently contains an .exe installer suitable for windows users.  These files are in the process of being updated with zip files and this message will be removed once the update is complete.

      The Nick O'Laus Toy Company
The Toy Factory is a ploppable reward offering a few hundred industrial (manufacturing) jobs. It is also a landmark that will improve the mayor's rating and attract tourists to the area.

It sits on a 6x5 lot and uses many elements of the Mountain Theme Pack (MTP). It doesn't pollute much and has a modest value that generates some local revenue from taxes. Other features include a custom query, chimney smoke from the central chimney and a custom background sound effect... appropriately, the March Of The Toys theme. Overall, its a pretty good value for its $2000 price tag.
Each game-year as Christmas approaches, the lot begins to transform. It starts with the factory being covered with snow and icicles. Christmas lights appear and other decorations soon appear. As Christmas gets nearer, reindeer appear and the loading area behind the factory transforms into a reindeer landing zone.
Stealing a Pic of Old Saint Nic
According to Legend, the best way to get a pic of St. Nic is to hide in the woods behind the factory and make sure you have a clear view of the landing zone behind the factory. Best results are in night/darkness mode. With the game in slow mode, landing lights on the loading zone will begin to flash shortly before St. Nic appears. When he does, act fast. Before you can say, "Ho Ho Ho", he will fly off into the night on his appointed rounds.
Join in All The Reindeer Games
The eight reindeer are somewhere on the factory's grounds. See if you can find and "tag" them all. To tag a deer, use the query cursor tool and try to get the reindeer's name to show in the query bubble. Some of the deer are easy to spot yet difficult to tag. You will probably need to rotate the view several times to get them all. Tag all eight to win the game.
      * Rudolph is in de-tox at the Betty Ford Clinic. I guess now we know where the red nose comes from.
** Why you are at it, you might as well look for Waldo as well. That guy really gets around.
** This lot requires the following dependencies
      PEG MTP Super Pack
      PEG Christmas Development Kit

      Show us your tropical scenes!
I'll get it started off with a few from the South Pacific: a scene from the tropical islands of Kiribati and another featuring the waterside huts of Bora Bora.

Palawan is an archipelagic province of the Philippines. Its capital is the city of Puerto Princesa, but the city is governed independently from the province as a highly urbanized city.
The islands of Palawan stretch between Mindoro in the northeast and Borneo in the southwest. It lies between the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea) and the Sulu Sea.
