Not sure why the renders came out so jagged in appearance. I'll add an in-game screenshot when I can, since it looks fine there.

BAT Being Revisited, new lot coming soon

This is my first BAT as a BLaM member, I hope you'll enjoy it!
I don't know if you remember my old jamison foundry, it was also a Reward, but if you queried it, your game crashed, well, if you query this one no issue will appear, don't worry.
The whole BAT took 28 hours to render (with lights) and is the hugest industry ever made (and finished) in BAT...
      Size: 14x23 (huge, isn't it?)
      Plop Cost: 4000
      Deal Income: 3500
      Bulldoze cost: 100
      I-M Works: 348
      Power consumed: 87
Water consumed: 567 (cooling system needs water)

And for the BLaM policy and the sake of no dependencies,
      -NO dependencies-

Church Pack, by SimGoober Across America, many communities are built around local churches. What ever the denomination, they tend to be a focal point for the culture in the area. I have never been very impressed with the Maxis "Houses of Worship", but always use them, as they provide city benefits. For that reason, I developed 4 new churches, to work in place of those. They do not replace the Maxis ones (which are still available), but work along side them. They are Hidden rewards, which will show up with an announcement once certain population levels are reached. Each has the same city benefits of of the corresponding Maxis one.

Base / Overlay Textures BSC Texture MEGA Pack Essentials BSC Essentials Files Prop Packs None Notes about Nightlighting Effects In order to see the nightlighting, you must install the EP1-Update 1 for Rush Hour/SimCity 4 Deluxe, and then afterwards, install the SC4-Update for nightlighting. Both can be found here. If this update isn't installed, you won't see any lighting effects on custom BAT buildings.
Note: Digital versions of the game already have both patches installed.

For years, the members of the National UFO Tracking Society (commonly referred to as N.U.T.S.) have been staking out the government's Area 51 in hopes of spotting some glimpse of the Alien Technology they firmly believe to be stashed away and often tested there. Of course, its all a ruse. Area 51 is just a front to keep all the freaks and crazies in one place where they can be monitored and rounded up if need be.
The real alien research and technology is, of course,at Area 52.
Hidden in plain sight... and literally right under the noses of the good folk living & working in the area. Area 52 has all the appearances of a common working farm... with common farming facilities & implements such as a farm house, barn, tractor, crop fields, electrified barb-wire fencing, billion candle-power security lighting, armed guards and numerous menacing black government-issue SUVs.
Initially, a few of the locals appeared to be a tad curious. So a large sign was erected explaining that the site was NOT an ultra top secret facility... and anyone entering the site would be shot. And that seemed to have cured any further curiosity.
By day... and from the front, Area 52 is an ordinary looking farm with a rustic charm that belies its real purpose. But in the dead of night while the locals slumber soundly and the night air is clear and calm.... an unearthly metamorphasis takes place that will curl your toes and straighten your hair.. Or straighten your toes and curl your hair. Results vary per individual. There have also been reports of nausuea, headache, dizzyness, diarhea, impotancy & rectal leakage.  But those are mostly from the Area 52 cafeteria... shortly after lunch.
Area 52 is a 6x4 Reward lot that is free to plop and even generates some income every month just like the game-default Area 51 reward. But unlike Area 51, Area 52 is not conditional, not a crime magnet, does not make your Sims hate your guts, does not reduce the area to a caldron of bubbling toxic waste... and does not suck the power and water out of your city.  Area 52 is a much more "friendly"  scary government facility.
Beyond the nightly mojo on the surface of the lot, there is of course the vast facility that lies underneath. The lot must be plopped on the edge of your city in order to see the underground complex. In fact, if the lot is not plopped on the city edge, it will be sealed off both from view and a viable air supply. Everyone in it will sufficate and die a most unpleasant painfull death. So for God's sake... plop it right!!
The lot also features a custom query and rotating/random occasional sound effects that can be heard throughout the city. Despite efforts to maintain secrecy, its sorta hard to conceal a sonic boom.

      The Nick O'Laus Toy Company
The Toy Factory is a ploppable reward offering a few hundred industrial (manufacturing) jobs. It is also a landmark that will improve the mayor's rating and attract tourists to the area.

It sits on a 6x5 lot and uses many elements of the Mountain Theme Pack (MTP). It doesn't pollute much and has a modest value that generates some local revenue from taxes. Other features include a custom query, chimney smoke from the central chimney and a custom background sound effect... appropriately, the March Of The Toys theme. Overall, its a pretty good value for its $2000 price tag.
Each game-year as Christmas approaches, the lot begins to transform. It starts with the factory being covered with snow and icicles. Christmas lights appear and other decorations soon appear. As Christmas gets nearer, reindeer appear and the loading area behind the factory transforms into a reindeer landing zone.
Stealing a Pic of Old Saint Nic
According to Legend, the best way to get a pic of St. Nic is to hide in the woods behind the factory and make sure you have a clear view of the landing zone behind the factory. Best results are in night/darkness mode. With the game in slow mode, landing lights on the loading zone will begin to flash shortly before St. Nic appears. When he does, act fast. Before you can say, "Ho Ho Ho", he will fly off into the night on his appointed rounds.
Join in All The Reindeer Games
The eight reindeer are somewhere on the factory's grounds. See if you can find and "tag" them all. To tag a deer, use the query cursor tool and try to get the reindeer's name to show in the query bubble. Some of the deer are easy to spot yet difficult to tag. You will probably need to rotate the view several times to get them all. Tag all eight to win the game.
      * Rudolph is in de-tox at the Betty Ford Clinic. I guess now we know where the red nose comes from.
** Why you are at it, you might as well look for Waldo as well. That guy really gets around.

      PEG Christmas Development Kit

The Coast Guard has finally come to SimCity. This CDK3 conditional reward is similar to the game-default military bases but with less poillution and no increased crime... and a lot more panache.
No expense was spared in this 10x5 mega-lot that weighs in at nearly 5 megs. The lot is comprised of 7 nite-lit primary models and countless other custom props including boats, helocopters, static and animated coast guard personnel. The lot is extensively nite-lit, has transit enabled driveways... and includes a qustom query and query sound effect.
Three different types of Search & Rescue choppers will come and go throughhout the day. The main security gates will also open and close as the station shuts down for the night and reopens in the morning.

The lot is a conditional reward... yet is only available in the Water Transportation menu along with the other CDK3 specialty lots. It is fairly easy to earn. The requirements as well as your current status are displayed in the menu icon description. Alternately, you can earn the reward by completing the good Fishing Boat mission. (or just use the You Don't Deserve It cheat).
      * Although the lot is decidedly styled after the US Coast Guard, it is not intended to be specific to any one real-world nation. It is commonly depicted and referrenced as "Coast Guard Service" (not US Coast Guard) and the flag is a One Flag - Many Nations (OFMN) prop so the player can easily select any national flag to be flown.

      * All custom models and props used in these lots have been optimized for reduced file size and game resource usage.

** This requires the following dependencies:
      PEG-CDK3 Resource Pack 1 ( PEG-CDK3_Resource-Pack_01.dat )
Included in: PEG CDK3 SUPER PAK
      PEG Security Fencing Kit
Optional: One Flag - Many Nations (OFMN) Mod
All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.
-Cori Edit: Made dep linkys clickable.
