About This File

The Torre Latinoamericana (English: Latin-American Tower) is a skyscraper in downtown Mexico City, Mexico. Its central location, height (188 m or 597 ft; 44 stories) and history make it one of the city's most important landmarks. It is also widely recognized internationally as an engineering and architectural landmark since it was the world's first major skyscraper successfully built on highly active seismic land. The old skyscraper withstood the 1985 Mexico City earthquake without damage.

The Torre Latinoamericana was Mexico City's tallest building from 1956, when it was built, until the 1984 completion of the Torre Ejecutiva Pemex, which is 22 m higher (although, if one subtracts the height of the television transmitter atop the Torre Latinoamericana, it had already been surpassed in 1972 by the 207 m-tall Hotel de México, which was subsequently remodelled and turned into the World Trade Center Mexico City). It is situated on the corner of the Eje Central and Madero Street.

YES!!!! I screamed like a teenage fangirl when I saw this.:) I love this building! There was an old model here in the STEX, and it was good, but underscaled, well, the time has come to retire it. Thank you for remastering such an iconic landmark for SC4.

On a more serious note, this tower has withstood three major destructive earthquakes, 1957, 1985 and 2017. It is truly a simbol of our resilience, I don't know, it warms my heart to see it stand proud on the skyline. Once again, thank you for this.

      Because I have a lot of stuff in my Landmark and Park menu, I use ILiveReader to give content a specific number. Parks, hedges, alleys, CO-buildings, IM-buildings, you name it,  all in order.
      This is for easy finding. To make it more easier, here are some ‘Planning Blocks’.
      You can give each block a number. By example: In My Park menu fillers have there numbers between -10001 / -20000 and hedges, fences and alleys have the numbers between: -20001 / -30000. Now you choose a color, give it the number -20000 and you have a divider between the two ‘sub-menu’s’.
      All files are seperated. The one file you certenly need is:  Planning_Colors.dat.  The one for the Landmark, are called color-landmark. The one for the park menu have only got there color names.
      All credits goes to @CorinaMarie, she made these things. I just changed some numbers (after reading a tutorial how to do, made by her.)

      Let me introduce you to the Heretic Shell MIGM and Service Station which was based on nos.17 B62's Remastered services stations.
      This is a plopable Landmark with some Cs$$ jobs.
      The lot is using a bunch of timed props (from my recently uploaded Heretic Essential Dependency Pack): cars, people, so it has a rhythm.
      Installation: Copy the "Heretic Projects" folder from the zip (or unzip it) into your plugin folder. If something wanted to be overwritten, you can accept it, that's OK.
      Highly recomended to keep the provided folder structure, because all of my uploads have the same format, and since sometime I'm working with included dependencies (such as textures or descriptor datas) it's better if these "inclouded dependencies" are in the same place. If you unzipped the upload, you may delete or remove the "Documentation" folder from your Plugin Folder.
      To uninstall, bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins.

      Fort Pegasus is an Historic Landmark that calls to an older era when the land was young and settlers were trekking ever westward in search of a better life.
      Forts such as this, carved from the very elements of the frontier, provided sanctuary to settlers and often served as a center of commerce for the communities that sprung up around them. Due to its historic nature, exquisite preservation and daily guided tours, this landmark also serves as a museum with the appropriate scholastic EQ boost in the surrounding area.
      Its a popular locale for family holidays and educational field trips.
      To avoid educational capacity problems, the fort has been converted to a true museum lot... with jobs. It no longer is a landmark in the technical sense. The custom UI now shows the standard museum data and funding control.

      By request... this package contains the 3 most requested variations of the PEG Poltergeist Manor. All versions are quite similar to the original and, of course require the original  Poltergeist Manor as a dependency.

      Included in this package are:

      1. Poltergeist Manor 365. Another landmark version that remains haunted all year long. The effects were modified so they too will "Haunt Da Hood" 365 days a year.
      2. Poltergeist Manor... The Growable. A growable R$$, Stage 2 lot suitable for all densities. Functions just like the landmark version except it has a normal residential query. Possibly the first & only growable building that changes with the season/holiday.
      3. Victoria Manor. A growable R$$$, Stage 3 lot that is just the non-haunted version of the mansion. Nary a spook or specter. "This house is clean!"
      * The 3 versions are in separate files so you can remove any version that you do not wish to use.
      Enjoy!!  And once again...
      Happy Halloween !!

      AddOn for 'PEG Coast Guard Station'
      So you finally earned the right to build your Coast Guard Station... and soon you may want to expand on that. Well, give them an airfield. This highly modular set enables you to make your base even more of a region's highlight! Build an air strip with hangars, additional helipads, more barracks and numerous small facilities.
      Before you wonder - no, this is NOT a functional airport... this airfield will be used only by the coast guard (though once in a while some military choppers might visit).
      And mind you - this babe ain't cheap! Make sure you got the cash to build it. The full-fledged air field can easily cost you up to 20000! Once built it doesn't cost much to maintain though, you probably get away with a little over a 100 bucks... depending on the size of your runway.
      List of Included Sections
      4 runway 4 taxiways 7 sidings 3 structures The set can be used by itself, but makes much more sense together with the 'PEG Coast Guard Station'. An exception to that might be the runways and taxiways - those can be used to build a landing strip of any type, anywhere...
      Btw: The runways are made up of Maxis default items - so yes, the level or realism may be questioned by some. But no, you don't need to be a trained pilot to build them - which will probably suit most :-))
      All pieces need power and water.
      All of them can be found at or near the end of your 'Landmarks Menu'.
      * PEG Coast Guard Station
      * PEG Security Fencing Kit
      * Tabi SNCG Aircraft V2 (Also now attached in the download button above.)
      With this download comes a pack of additional pieces that you may wish to install (or not). Please note that you'll need additional dependencies (and cash!) for those. If you don't want or need these, just pull the similar named folder (or parts of its content) out of your Plugins.
      Kindly see the enclosed read_me for detailed information and links.
      More images of this set can be viewed here:
      * Coast Guard in Mountainview
      Not a dependency, but I highly recommended another of my sets to add a good-looking security perimeter to the base:
      * Maximum Security Fence

      -Cori Edit: Fixed formatting, added lost dependency, and updated other linkys.
