About This File

@Bipin requested I upload these concrete retaining walls as he no longer has access to the files. These walls are solely the creative output of Bipin and I take no credit whatsoever nor assume responsibility for them.

Please bear in mind these walls were never released as a 'final version' and should be considered a test/draft version and treated as such by members.

The walls contain a variety of retaining wall pieces as you can see from the images. I have only tested them with 10, 12 and 14 metre-high embankments and as you can see from the image the 'boutiques' entrance is best suited to use at 10m. Placing the corners can take a bit of trial and error so be patient, remember these are not a final release.

Walls should appear in the Misc Transport menu

@Haljackey Thanks mate! If I recall, I designed them so they'll work flawlessly with any height between 10 and 7.5m They also work for up to 15m, with the exception of the underground mall entrance.

@sucram17 I believe they're in the misc. transit menu. If not, give the landmarks menu a try.

@Belfastsocrates ... You're definitely missing some dependencies. Do you know what they are? These are the ones I could find.

  • CP Vol Mega Props Vol 02 is required for at least some of the small bush flora
  • PEG_MTP_SUPER_TEXTURES_PACK is required for the texture
  • "DF Ex Grunge square center" is required for the planters

I keep on digging into SC4's game mechanisms and I was thinking about how far from reality the water system in SC4 is.
It's also completely wrong in Skylines.
I don't think any city in the world lays pipes under the ground to "cover" an area. Water pipes are usually running under the streets of a city.
Also, water towers do not produce water (LOL...), they only serve to store water and provide pressure.
I know it "adds some gameplay"... but it should be working about the same as the electricity system.

      Good day everyone!
I have become curious about how the simulation was working in SC4.
Of course I know that unlike Skylines, Sims in 4 are simulated only in "presence", but how?

I'm also cursious about health, wealth and education. Is it just a global percentage applied to groups of population in map areas or is it more precise?
Do Sims get wealthier? Do Sims really age?
I am wondering what the underlying mechanics are, do we have a full documentation about that somewhere or are we just guessing by observing what happens ingame?
