Transform your city's roadways with the new Civilian Vehicles Collection! Available for Online and Offline use!
 
Over 5 weeks of work went into creating this vehicle mod, featuring vehicles from North America and Europe. A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to fellow modder, Tobse. I want to point out that this mod would not have been possible without his help with vehicles, his knowledge, and long nights spent on Skype chat with me fixing errors and putting this project together. This is just as much his mod as it is mine. If you get a moment, stop by to say thanks to him.

Installation Instructions
 - Install by copying the .package files into your ...\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityData\ folder
 - You may rename the .package files, make sure they come before "SimCity_App" alphabetically
 - Individual mod files for each car are located in the "Individual Files" folder for more flexibility
 
Warning
 - Modifying files is still experimental and might lead to city rollbacks
 - There is no official statement from Maxis nor EA about using mods, so use at your own risk

This mod replaces all civilian cars (14 in total) in SimCity 2013 to real-life, high definition versions of the vehicles. Our plan is to release full separate versions for Europe and North America in the near future, this is simply our first mixed edition to get it in the hands of players as soon as possible. If you notice any problems, please report them in the comments and we will look at the issues as soon as possible. Be looking for more mods like this very soon! Thanks for your support.       Welcome everyone! Today I want to present the second entry of my earthworks tutorial series! Today we're covering the basics of building a main, two-lane road into a town across rolling/undulating terrain!

      This mod turns your cities into Christmas... 365 days out of the year. Specifically, the mod changes ALL PEG Christmas props to display year-round in the game.

      This mod is intended for those who are in the Holiday Spirit... or would truly like to be. Christmas may only come once a year in the real world... but it can come and go about every 3 minutes or so in the game. Now, with this mod, you can enjoy the Holiday festive atmosphere in the game throughout the real-world Holiday season.

      YOU WILL NOT NEED TO RE-PLOP ANY LOTS.  Once the mod is installed, any lot using any of the PEG Christmas props will instantly  become decorated for the Holidays. Once the mod is uninstalled, all those lots return back to normal.  You can easily turn it off after the Holidays... or leave the mod installed and enjoy Christmas year-round in your cities.

      * This mod has no effect on the PEG Santa's Village as that lot uses special versions of the Christmas props that are already designed for year-round usage.

      * This mod will convert the PEG Seasonal Lot into a year-round Christmas Tree lot.

      * This mod does modify the PEG Toy Factory & PEG Reindeer Rest Stop lots. The Toy Factory building will be covered in snow and  ice year-round and the Christmas props will also display throughout the year... including the Reindeer Landing Pad. However, Old Saint Nick will still only show up near midnight on Christmas Eve.  (game time)

      * This mod also modifies the Maxis add-on landmark Rockefeller Center Christmas props to display year-round. ** The ZIP file will create a ZZZ PEG Patches sub-folder of the standard PEGPROD folder. This mod must be installed into that folder in order to function properly.

      ** This mod has no dependencies.

      Please Note: This is another Snow Mod related upload. 

      Also Note: This mod can be used with any Snow Mod as it does not affect any snow textures.
      For use with the PEG Snow Mod, this patch file allows you to de-flower your cities. The patch file simply removes certain flora props that normally wouldn't appear in a snow covered scene. Don't worry... your lots and cities are not affected in any way. The props are still there. They just won't show... in the snow.
      Specifically, this patch hides all flower props that just look out of place in the snow.  It also conceals several of the smaller bush/brush props that would be covered up by the snow. All palm trees are replaced with pine trees... and the scrub brush that appears at higher elevations when you plant God Mode trees is also hidden.
      Just like the Snow Mod, when you are ready for springtime once again, just remove the mod and everything in the game returns to normal. By default, this mod is installed to the same folder as the Snow Mod, so simply moving that one folder out of your Plugins will uninstall all related Snow mods.

      Designed for use with the MTP, rural themed or industrial cities, this mod removes all the "roadway junk" from streets, roads, on-way roads and avenues. This "junk" includes mailboxes, benches, trees, flower planters... and most of the other small props that line the sidewalks in the city.
      Most of these little props look great in a large urban city or even in "the burbs"...  but they look out of place in a rural, mountainous, or industrial city. The mod was originally designed to compliment the mods that removed sidewalks for the MTP... but it can be useful anywhere you don't want those big city props cluttering up your sidewalks.
      The mod removes all sidewalk props, except for people props and the fire hydrants,  which are appropriate for all types of cities. Also, all street lights have been replaced with the more rural/industrial looking wooden pole street lights. For the avenues, all the center barriers & foliage have been removed. This provides a more realistic look for rural themed cities.
      The mod is broken down into 4 separate files; one each for streets, roads, one-way roads and avenues. After installation, you can easily remove any of the files you do not wish to use. For example, if you like the way the mod works for your streets and roads, but prefer to keep your avenues the way they are, just remove the files for the avenues.
      Collectively, these mods remove a substantial number of props from your city. Depending on the power of your computer system, the size of the city and the detail level selected, you may experience a notable performance increase. 
      IMPORTANT:  Because the mod changes props on the network tiles, you will not notice any changes on existing roadways until you re-plop them. Fortunately, re-plopping just a single roadway tile will often update a very large area... so you do not have to re-plop all your roadways. Also, the roadways will update automatically any time there is growth or a change in a nearby zoned tile.
       
      ** This mod has no dependencies and is designed for use with the MTP Mountain Theme Pack .
      **This file currently contains an .exe installer suitable for windows users.  These files are in the process of being updated with zip files and this message will be removed once the update is complete.

      Add a new and more rustic/rural look to your cities with the Rural Roadways Mod. Designed for use with the MTP but certainly useful in any city where you'd rather have a slightly less developed look, this mod changes the appearance of your streets and roads in several ways.
      For starters, all sidewalks are removed and replaced with dirt edges or shoulders. In place of the wealth/density generated colored sidewalks & grassy parkways, the streets and roads themselves now change to match the surrounding wealth. Intersections change from having simple stop lines in non-developed and low density areas... to having crosswalks in medium wealth/density zones... and brick in-laid crosswalks in the upscale areas.
      For the streets, you now have three options to choose from for the lowest wealth/density zones which include the streets around farmlands. You have the choice of asphalt streets,  gravel roads or dirt roads. Again, these are only in the lowest wealth/density zones so the normal asphalt streets will still appear in normally developed areas. Its almost like adding a new street/road type.
      The mod is broken down into several files so you can easily choose which features you want installed. Streets and roads are broken down into 2 basic files so you can install either one... or both. For both the road & street mods, there are separate & optional "No Text" mods which removes the "STOP" text from the intersections. Obviously, if you live in a Spanish speaking country you would prefer to have El Stoppo or whatever the Spanish word for 'stop' is. In France, "Ceasez-Vous" might be preferable... although a tad hard to squeeze into the limited space. The No-Text mod simply removes the text... the next best thing.
      For the streets, the default mod uses asphalt streets in all wealth & density zones. The optional Dirt & Gravel mods change only the type of street used in undeveloped, low wealth/density & farmland zones. The Dirt streets really look great in and around farms but have a more abrupt transition to paved surfaces. The Gravel roads blend well with all other roadway types and work best in areas where the road surface type changes frequently.
      * For optimum effect, it is recommended that the RoadsNoGrass.dat file from the Swamper77 Street and Road Sidewalk Mod also be installed. Swamper's mod will remove the sidewalks from the diagonal road tiles... which the Rural Roadways mod does not cover.
