About This File

The PEG Terrain Kit (7 n 1)
By Pegasus

This package contains a number of separate files, mainly Mayor Mode Ploppables (MMP) that are widely used for terrain detailing.

The number of available files has been continuously growing over the years - causing a steadily growing list of dependencies as well, tedious to keep track of, download one-by-one or having to list them again and again.

To make things easier we decided to organize a selection of these files into one single pack, so for users it will be much easier to download, while producers can just list them as a single dependency. Since most of these files are very slim, we feel this is appropriate - it is not a huge pack to download and it's organized to leave you in full control which items to load into your plugins.

The 'Kit' bundles the following sets:

* PEG PPond Kit
* PEG PP Lot Editor Terrain Props (Only available in this package)
* PEG PPond Terrain Prop Pack 1
* PEG MTP Mayor Mode Forest Scenes
* PEG MTP Mayor Mode Flora Mod
* PEG MTP Mayor Menu Logging Scenes
* PEG MTP Mayor Menu Scrub Brush Mod

NOTICE

There is NO NEW MATERIAL in this package. It is merely a compilation of previously published material. And of course every single component will stay available on the PLEX as well.

So those of you that have been MTP'ing for some time will not need this pack as you most probably have downloaded all the individual sets long time ago... But all folks new to MTP or terrain detailing or even preparing a fresh install might find this useful.

When you unpack this download you'll find a folder 'Documentation' including the following material -

* complete set of the original ReadMe files with images
* complete listing of all included files, useful for version control
* complete listing of URLs pointing to the (still available) individual downloads
^ Contains a URL_Individual.txt file which all point to the now lost SimPeg website.
* a few notes on this or that... ;-)

Store the documentation anywhere outside your Plugins, for future reference...

All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

Looks great! Could help newbies to get those awesome packs all at once for change instead of searching for them all over the STEX\PLEX etc.
Love your work!

Remember that if you already have any of the listed included packs, that you should remove them, to avoid plugin folder duplication.

I have been looking all over for the PEG Ploppable Leveling Tool and cannot find it anywhere, here or PLEX (even in Legacy!)... :( Can anyone  help with this? I'm trying to create a marina, but no joy. TIA

Fort Pegasus is an Historic Landmark that calls to an older era when the land was young and settlers were trekking ever westward in search of a better life.
Forts such as this, carved from the very elements of the frontier, provided sanctuary to settlers and often served as a center of commerce for the communities that sprung up around them. Due to its historic nature, exquisite preservation and daily guided tours, this landmark also serves as a museum with the appropriate scholastic EQ boost in the surrounding area.
Its a popular locale for family holidays and educational field trips.
To avoid educational capacity problems, the fort has been converted to a true museum lot... with jobs. It no longer is a landmark in the technical sense. The custom UI now shows the standard museum data and funding control.
      DEPENDENCIES:
      PEG MTP SUPER PACK
PEG One Flag - Many Nations Mod (ver. 2.05)
      PEG Old West Prop Pack

We have built out... we have built up... now we can build down! The new PEG Subterranean Mall is the first of several new lots that will utilize your available real estate to its fullest extent by utilizing the space under your transportation network and existing development. These lots are designed to visually connect to each other both end-to-end and side-to-side... allowing you to create sprawling, inter-connected shopping complexes. They also work well when plopped alone as a small, space-saving singular shopping mall. This initial offering includes two 3x6 lots... similar in appearance but slightly different... and each containing unique store signage for added variety.
The sub-malls are now "Christmas Enabled" and will show Christmas decorations & lighting during the Holiday season. Installation of the PEG Christmas Development Kit is required.

Pegadyne Industries is pleased to announce the opening of the their new Oceanographic Institute off the coast of your city. This long-awaited private university will take advanced education to the next level offering masters & doctorate programs in Oceanography, Marine Biology, Marine Engineering & HydroSimology. City planners anticipate a large increase in High Tech industrial demand as graduates from this elite institution hit the job market.
The Oceanographic Institute is an alternative to the game's university and has the same properties and characteristics. But unlike the university's massive size, the institute only takes up one, single land tile. The entire facility resides completely in the water.
The POI also offers up to 450 CS jobs. IT can be plopped in any water depth... however the underwater detail may only be visible in shallower water.

Yes... it produces electricity. Yes... traffic can travel across it. Yes... its designed for use with the PEG Pond Kit II. And Yes... it's pretty DAM cool!
Finally, the long lost hydro dams of yester-versions are back to provide your Sims with clean & cheap power. Now you can run a river down from your mountains using the Pond Kit II and build a series of these Hydro Dams that will provide even your largest cities with ample power & water.
Each dam produces about the same power as a Solar Power Plant. With version 2.07, each dam will increase the efficiency of connected water pumps by an extra 4,000 cu per month. The building & maintenance costs are about the same as a natural gas power plant.
** This lot is not transit enabled. Its a single lot that plops on both sides of an existing road, street or rail. You can also run elevated rail across it... or trail parks... or zone it and see what develops.
This package includes the Waterfall Bottom lots (PEG_Pond-WFB_205.dat) that can be used to create the water turbulence on the lower side of the dam.
      Dependencies:
      PEG Pond Kit II
PEG 24/7 Mod (used for water turbulence effect)

This is the first official Add-On pack for the PEG woods and forests lots. It includes several new lots to add visual variety & realism to your woodlands. All lots include both textured and transparent ground versions and can be used with the PEG Random Woods, PEG Seasonal Woods and PEG MTP Random Pine Forest. All lots act as small parks and are conveniently grouped together in your Parks menu above the Random Woods lots.
The Meadow lots, with both 1x1 and 2x2 sized versions, can be very useful to stagger the edges of your tree lines and add those open areas and clearings that are common in real world woodlands.
The Logger lots add a visual sense of function and purpose to your woodlands and will tie in with PEG MTP Mayor Menu Logging Scenes designed specifically for the Pine Forests.
The Hot Springs (rated PG-13 for Brief Nudity) adds a soothing and restful secret spot for your Sims to shed their everyday troubles... as well as their clothing.
The Hunting Lodges (Yes, plural. There are three in a random prop family), utilize a new modeling technique that allows the building to adapt more realistically to sloped terrain. The cabin's foundation and stairways will adjust to the slope of the lot without the use of a separate foundation model or relying on the game's forced lot leveling or big, ugly  concrete blocks under the structure.
The Hunting Lodges use lanterns for night lighting and do not require power... so you can plop them way out in the boonies. You will also see gentle wisps of smoke rising from their chimneys.
The PEG Woods & Forest are PEG tested & Tree-Hugger approved. Each lot has properties similar to a small green park with slightly improved air pollution qualities. These lots are also 'Slope Conforming' so you can place them almost anywhere.
