SIM CITY 2000 SE WINDOWS EMPIRE MEGALOPOLIS 4.3(Modern Megalopolis) UPDATE TILESET ===================================================== This is an update to the aforementioned, SCURK Tileset. This meticulous creation has even further changes, focusing primarily upon the ARCOLOGIES. For which they are more modern buildings, and building clusters, that I created myself! Plus, the millitary Tiles have been changed. Generally, this will bring your City up to a modern aesthetic with perhaps, a slight resemblance to some Canadian architecture. It still has some New York buildings, but they are fewer now, especially the Arcologies, which were changed because of my other Tile Set " Vintage New York", having the exact same Arcos'. Which was the main reason for this Update! Speaking of City, this Update will includs a Pre developed City File entitiled " Claryisle 2.1" Here, every thing is urbanized and really shows off some of the potential with this Tileset and Update! The millitary tiles are compiled of some Sci-fi looking tiles. They function well as an air force base. Just though, with the glitch, you may have to open your millitary awarded city in SCURK, and add the tiles(buildings) manualy. Which is poo-like! But, I was able to make a cool Air-Force base on the city of "Chilton". Which is included! This city is on the right path! It was very hard to get it there too! So, take off with the other half of the map! I also Tweaked the Airport tiles, a x2 size building in place of the parking lot, and the Control tower are my original scurk. The new power plant is something I copied and edited heavily. I just spent two hours cleaning up the bases of the tiles, making sure that there are no gaps in the pixels from copying and pasting! I siwtched out the Mayors' house Too! Essentialy speaking though, the whole Empire Megalopolis set, still represents much of the ficticious city depicted in the race track, "Empire City", for The Third installment of , " The Need For Speed". Or, just a 'New-Wave Gothic Revival'. Also, there is a cool Brown and almost golden-like vibe to some of the zones this set can produce! As you may already be familiar with . The low density Residential zones can develop into Three styles of neighborhoods. The lowest class being old brown and Grey homes to large and vibrant luxury homes! The High density residential zones can develop into the Brown stone, and Silver medium rise districts, with the x6 size buildings brining in the finest towers! One thing I really admire about the set is the Low density comericial zones. They have a cool touch of low-mid rise buildings with unique colors, making it possible to create lushious comerce regions. Of course, the High density comercial will sprawl very high! You'll be able to expirement for many hours to see all this Set has to offer! With this being version 4.3, I probaly will not do any further editing on it. Leaving four versions for " Empire Megalopolis". Under, Jays Epic Tile Set! It goes from self titiled to 4, so there are no missing numbers or versions. Its just how I went about developing and saving them. Laugh Out Loud So its' confusing enough... Version 1- Empire Megalopolis Version 2-Empire Megalopolis 4.0 Version 3-Empire Megalopolis 4.2 Version 4-Empire Megalopolis 4.3 ( The Modern megalopolis). You can alternate between them all if you want to see the difference by the end, and latest update. During the course of a Year. I think the latest tile Set shows much more detail! Clairyisle 2.1.Sc2 File ( A hard won design, took many tries and much time to sculpt the Land, and get Nice Sprawling urban areas! It is presented here on the verdege of just breaking even, and needs to be lead to great success!) Clairyisle 2.2.Sc2 File ( This is what I refer to as the developers version. I had to enable the money cheat to get to the Arcologies, and place them into the dense skyline areas in order to gauge their scale and color match capabilities. Still the Same exact city.) Chillton 3.Sc2 File ( This is a well thought out design. Mostly low dense, with a large, low dense comercial dependance. The center of town rises to become a high-city center! This city has just became very successful, and I have laid out the Advanced Air Force Base!)
