Now this is a 'do it yourself' project. Hop over to the STEX and try a search on monorail. You may find such a thing, but it will probably be a station.

There's a tool with a very simple to use feature called Transit Enabling or TE. It is called the SimCity 4 Tool and can be found here. If you are running Windows 7 or Vista, be sure to disable the visual themes or you'll have some problems, since it's only programmed to work with older OS's.

One of the issues with TE'ing any lot is taking care so that the lot has as little effect on traffic in your city as possible. For railway stations (monorial, light rail, heavy rail) it is pretty ideal since there is no traffic on the tracks other than what Sims are commuting. For road networks it can be problematic if the lot is under capacity...it'll carry not only commuter traffic but thru traffic as well, and Sims may use the lot to jump between city blocks which is not ideal. There are lots developed by the RTMT (Road Top Mass Transit) team which are essentially bus/subway/TIA/TIR combination stops that plop right onto the transit network so as to not take up space on the side. Many hours of testing and debugging go into these lots and there's different packs for left or right hand drive plugins as well as the different traffic simulator plugins. They can be found on the SimCity 4 Devotion LEX.

I hope this post was informative enough for you. :read:
