ST time, aka GMT -5

Dirk is a night owl so "evening" might mean anything before midnight or 1 in the morning.

Starbucks tried operating in Australia. It still does, although with a vastly reduced number of locations. Unfortunately for them, we know what good coffee tastes like. Starbucks charged too much for coffee that was, frankly, of a lower quality than what we were used to.

I don't drink coffee myself, but my experience with their non-coffee drinks was poor. An iced chocolate is not generally considered to be a cup of ice with chocolate flavouring added.
