Yes that's normal. Here you have un-hidden the camera and lighting rig for the scene. You can always hide it again. (yellow = lights, blue = cameras)

So I tested the program one more time, I maked a small box, and exported it, and I had the same problem in Lot editor with that model (the boxe), so I reinstalled B.A.T. and now everything is good

Well, what do you think?

I'm still going to raise the opacity of the roof glass so it look like glass, but I'm having a problem to export it, you see it ok now, but when you zoom in, there's problems, you see random maxis buildings, I made the roof is about 10 or 5 minutes, so, nothing wrong could happen, and then I saved it and exported, and the same problem again.
If anyone can export it for me, I'll be very greatfull :)

What do you think?
I guess I'm going to stick with the yellow grass, after making it little greener.
But I have a problem, the new one looks brighter, that's because of the lights, I added "lite_" to the name of each light, so it only work at night, but it seems that it works all the time, and it doesnt even look like light at night
Any idea?


I do kinda like the brighter one in the day light.
But I still have the nightlights problem.
Or I will just leave it like this (except changing the grass texture)

Find the. "Apply uvw map"modifier then in the sidebar check the option for box or cylinder.

Part 1 of the building is almost done (the interior area).
You can still compare with the original building image, the one that I got the idea from.
Sadly, all the texture details on the walls behind the arches, are not looking so well, those walls are supposed to be colorfull, but the arches are covering them.

So what do you think? Is it good without comparing it to the original building?

This is an exterior wall, it have windows, and it is flexible to be a wall to wall building too.
Wich one of these is best?
I like the one in the top.

The top one has more contrast and it makes it look good
The bottom one is kinda the same as the other textures and just blends in making to looks a little boring
So I prefer the top one

I think the bottom one looks better with the building you are making. It blends in better... The white is too white for that building and it would make it look like weird imo.

Well, I think both colours are looking good, but all details look painted on rather than modeled. If they are modeled, you could try to exaggerate the shapes just a little bit to make them visible maybe.

I've opened my heart - and to my consternation, when I peered inside, it was small, dark and empty.
