    Urban School by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- In real life, many schools teach students from Kindergarten all the way through to the end of Senior School, and, in this ghastly era of economic rationalism where every public institution must return a profit to justify its existence, many are also forced to host more lucrative adult evening classes. Having schools in SC4 that cater for Elementary through to High School is nothing new (for example see my Bourke St Public School: Bourke St Public School), but combining junior, senior and adult education in the one campus hasn't been done before (to my knowledge). The Urban School combines all three functions. It is crucial to note that this school is not designed or modded to be a radical lot. If you want a radical lot that increases education levels with no cost and taking up no space, then this is not for you. Placing this lot merely emulates all three functions of the Maxis Large Elementary School, the Maxis Large High School and the Maxis City College in terms of Capacity, Radius, Cost and School Effectiveness vs Average Age categories; using the upper limits of each school type to create a single multi-purpose institution. It houses up to 14,500 students and has a very large coverage radius. EQ Boost and Population vs Distance stats are the same as the standard Maxis schools. The Bat itself is fictional, and is based on any number of more modern educational institutions. The central entrance area houses adminsitration, cafeteria, gymnasium/indoor courts & auditorium; the junior school is housed in the smaller wing, and the senior school laboratories and workshops in the larger wing. The adult college uses the senior wing after 5pm once all of the students and day teachers have gone home. This is a large building and lot, weighing in at 8x8 tiles (a bit over 4 acres in the old parlance) and has ample room for a soccer pitch, grassed relaxation areas and the typical asphalt surfaces where countless kids can graze their elbows and knees when falling over. It provides 390 teaching jobs. Visually, the lot is best placed on a corner, following the contour of the front driveway area. Like all my Bats, I have thoroughly tested this concept in both a Vanilla game and a full (4+GB) plugins for over 500 Sim Years in each and haven't observed any abnormal occurrences.     KOSC Presents: IndustryMania: Simgoober's Costco Distribution Center Introduction Costco Distribution Center is the 2nd release of my IndustryMania series. This is a set of re-lots and expansions for Simgoober's Costco Distribution Center. Package Overview These lots were designed for accommodating logistics and freight in which the original could not. The lot sizes have been expanded overall so there's more rooms for worker parking as well as freight to move around. Additionally, there is a new super distribution center that essentially doubles the available warehouse space in an attempt to emulate the massive, massive distribution centers in real life. These gigantic lots boasts expansive spaces for trucks to move about, as well as a plethora of stalls for trucks and cargo alike. Included in the following package is a set of custom base textures and 5 growable I-M lots: 3 for the super variant and 2 for the regular. There are IRM friendly versions for each of the centers. If you desire to plop the lots, use the buildingPlop cheat and look for the exemplar "KOSC_SG_CostcoDist_Super" for the super version, and "SG_CostcoDistribution_Grow" for the regular. (requires ExtraCheats.dll) General Stats The brand new Super Distribution Center lots will provide 750 I-M jobs.     KOSC presents: Folegate Leasings Introduction This is the 10th set of lots in my ITS Office Park series. Folegate Leasings is a set of ugly little fictional headquarters brought slightly back to life. Urghhhhh. Absolutely perfect for your generic, boring suburban business park. Package Overview Folegate Leasings comes with several different growable configurations and orientations. Like Holbourne House, this set comes with a centerpiece ploppable - a massive 11x9 monstrosity with 3 buildings. Similarly, all growable lots also boast parking lots with multiple entrances and were designed for expansion in mind. These were made to be combined with my SP Modular Parking Set. Included in the following package are a total of 10 lots: 8 CO$$ growables, 1 CO$$ growable and one CO$$ ploppable. These range from small, urban-friendly combinations to fairly large complexes. There are two different packages, the standard version and a LITE version. The LITE version is an adaptation that removes a lot of the perimeter CP seasonal trees and emphasizes open space and user preference.     KOSC presents: Holbourne Offices Introduction This is the 9th set of lots in my ITS Office Park series. Holbourne House is another rather generic mid-rise from Ill Tonkso's City Set that fits well in an urban setting as well as part of a suburban office complex. While I have lotted this one before as part of my very first complex release, I felt that the individual buildings were worthy contenders as standalones. Package Overview Holbourne Offices comes with several different growable configurations and orientations. The centerpiece ploppable in the set is a large 10x10 semi-symmetrical complex with a couple of parking extender lots. Addtionally, all growable lots also boast parking lots with multiple entrances and were designed for expansion in mind. Like many office complexes in the suburban US, parking lots can sprawl several blocks and in all sorts of shapes and sizes and thus these growables were meant to play well with the SP Modular Parking Set. Included in the following package are a total of 9 lots: 6 CO$$ growables, one CO$$$ ploppable and two parking lots disguised as parks. There are two different packages, the standard version and a LITE version.     KOSC presents: CAMden Heights Offices Introduction This is the eighth set of lots in my ITS Office Park series. CAMden Heights is a nice mid-rise, nondescript office tower that serves its purpose as the centerpiece in suburban office parks. Or an eyesore among an entire district of generic buildings... yeah, might as well be. Package Overview CAMden Heights Offices is a small collection of growables and a ploppable of Ill Tonkso’s Camden Heights Tower. There are two smaller lots are occupied by one tower each, both which boast relatively tame scenery. The centerpiece is the massive 10x10 complex featuring twin towers with an ample parking lot with garage, lush greenery, and a beautiful front plaza. Included in the following package are a total of 3 lots: two CO$$ growables and one CO$$ ploppable. The ploppable one can be found in the landmarks menu near the top.     KOSC presents: East Point Offices Introduction This is the seventh set of lots in my ITS Office Park series. East Point Offices focuses on my original goal for the series, which was a collection of small to large size lots to create dozens of different office park configurations. You may also notice a slight style change with this one (and everything after!); with the exception of a few lots, everything is now fully seasonal. In addition, the parking lots have also been slightly tuned up as well. (thanks nos.17! ) Package Overview East Point Offices is a collection of growable office lots built from Ill Tonkso’s East Point BAT. Lots range from tight plazas lined with palm trees to massive, seasonal tree lined parking lots. The larger ones especially feature plenty of open grass space and even ponds and fountains. Included in the following package are a total of 13 lots, all of which are CO$$ growables. Each lot contains up to 3 office buildings.   8. ITS Office Parks - CIS Center

    KOSC presents: ITS Office Parks - CIS Center Introduction Let's go bigger! CIS Center is a MEGAlot combining two individual Ill Tonkso releases: CIS Tower Manchester and CIS Tower 2 Manchester. Like their namesake, the two buildings have a similar design and theme which is why I thought they would look great as one massive plaza. Package Overview CIS Center is an urban centric office park/plaza with a major tower and two smaller towers. The focal point is the marble-paved plaza facing the main tower directly, with tree lined pathways as well as several fountains. Tucked away to the sides are narrower pathways shaded by massive deciduous trees as well as the looming offices above. Finally, lost in the back is a small service parking lot. Most workers choose instead to park in large garages across the street instead. This package contains a growable and a ploppable (it "grows" too!). Both lots share the same stats. Do note that these lots are of considerable size and capacity, so you'll need to make sure to have adequate demand/power/water and to a lesser extent, police coverage.     Overview: This is the second set of my MEH Office Park series focused exclusively on medium wealth buildings. This is a larger package encompassing 3 building types: 2 of the buildings have 8 different lot layouts between them while the last one has two. This makes for a grand total of 18 different office lots.     Overview: This is the first set in an attempt to expand Maxis' current kit of low-midrises into a larger complex of homogeneous buildings, similar to the structure of many suburban office parks in North America. The lots are designed to grow on large (>=5x5) plots of land such that there should be no interference by standard Maxis fare. The package contains 3 different lot designs on 2 buildings for a total of 6 lots. Building Stats: Modde Business Park (Modde Inc.)     SPAR Distribution, by Mattb325 Though the buildings in this BAT are purely fictional, SPAR food retailers are not; with over 12,000 stores in 35 countries, the logistics required to ship so many products (fresh and packaged) requires serious space and dedicated infrastructure. To that end, I have created a series of BATs to fulfill both CS and IHT demand. The main office building has a mix of differently tinted glass and balconies, and, as is so common in industrial parks, the large warehousing area is high-clearance and pre-fabricated concrete and steel. The lot-work gives you four distinct options for your cities and focuses on the high-wealth. All grow at stage 3 (making them suited to both CAM and non-CAM cities). In order to assist growth, hold down the CTRL key while zoning. This is critical when zoning the 6x6 and 8x8 industrial lots.
