I Kellydale2003 present to you the beautiful modern high-tech and one-of-a-kind Eicosakis Biology Research Centre! HISTORY In this technological era of mankind it's nearly impossible to ignore all the amazing buildings being built in the Western World for modern medicine! This building helps keep up to speed with the biological research that is essential to the health of the modern World we live in today. An amazing trend in today's modern buildings is building green! This building is inspired to capture the green essence by reducing the number of windows and using recycled material to build. With the number of windows reduced, less light and heat enters the building resulting in less effort for air-conditioning. During the design of the building I had realized that another trend in building construction is that structures are being built smaller than their lots permit them! This has a profound effect on the environment. The more of a building that is accessible to the sunlight increases the surface area that can generate heat... essentially heating up a city! This building is designed to fit in wall-to-wall with other structures to reduce the surface area while maintaining modern architecture with a beautiful terrace! The building isn't designed to be an entire focal point for a city! It's merely meant to blend in with other medium rise buildings... We have too many skyscrapers, and too many whom want to take the cake! The building is built for modern medicine and features both a COSSS or a High-tech version! When I initially asked the public in the Simtropolis chatroom if they would like a hospital version of this... they weren't too thrilled! So please, if you want a Hospital version of this... I'd be pleased to do so! Just post in my "Skyscrapers Galore " forum! Oh no! I did it again!... NO dependencies! ooops! Download the MAXIS NIGHT file if you do not have SimFox's Darknight installed in your plugins! Download the DARK NIGHT file if you have Dark Night installed! For more upcoming projects visit my thread! (: Enjoy! , Kellydale2003 ps; "Eicosakis" is my official middle name... Similar to the number twenty in Greek!
  5. Vohcem Condominiums

    Version 1.2

    18,082 Downloads

I Kellydale2003 present to you the Russian-Canadian-Torontonian inspired luxury residentials... Vohcem Condominiums! Vohcem Condominiums on the Lakeshore is a 100% fictional tower inspired by the amazing condos of the South Core of Downtown Toronto located along Lakeshore Boulevard. The tall yet slim structures of Downtown Toronto's South Core house thousands of Toronto residents in their ultra-modern luxury condo suites! The most recent trend in condo markets has been the partial or full rental of the condo suites to local or international hotels... making the Toronto condo market boom even more and inspire more projects like this! When I (Kellydale2003) first thought of building a tower like this I just started with a square, bent the edges, and rotated it slightly to break away from the traditional orientation of buildings in SimCity 4! The treated and inspired glass taught me an important lesson; Focal points can be made from the busy reflective windows. Therefore the yellow, blue, and grey facade was designed as a focal point for the whole tower... giving more culture and architectural interest to the tower. Soaring at a humble 36 stories of 175.4m (120% for SimCity 4) it fits in a comfortable 2x3 (32x48m) lot. The name "Vohcem" comes from the Russian word for the number "eight". As my personal policy always abides... NO dependencies! (: Download the MAXIS NIGHT file if you do not have SimFox's Darknight installed in your plugins! Download the DARK NIGHT file if you have Dark Night installed! For more upcoming projects visit my thread! (: Enjoy! , Kellydale2003 ps; I do know that the phonetic version of 'eight' in Russian is spelled differently! But for anyone who knows Canadians... We like to spell things our own way and is still legally and officially the right way of spelling it! eh! (: ps2; You're on a Canadian website... So bleh :b you "Grammar-ologists!" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is from the Ontario Creation Team! - Search "#OCT" to find further creations from us, or click the photo below to view upcoming projects and discussions! Tired of Highrises? Tired of all midrises being old? Tired of buildings with odd lots? Well I present to you... 1001 Yonge Library and Offices! 1001 Library & Offices is a 100% fictional midrise building perfect for your cities! The modern glass facade architecture was based off the podiums and base structure of Maple Leaf Square in downtown Toronto! Maple Leaf Square is located in the upcoming new neighborhood of the South Core and is viewable from the famous Gardiner Expressway! After constantly visiting Toronto for quite sometime I've finally decided to do a facade similar to one of my favorite structures! Both downloads include a Library, AND a seperate office lot... both 6x4 lots! Anyways, Here's some more information! Did I mention there's no dependencies? Download the MAXIS NIGHT file if you do not have SimFox's Darknight installed in your plugins! Download the DARK NIGHT file if you have Dark Night installed! For more upcoming projects visit my thread! (: Hope you enjoy my creations from my little fantasy World! 7. Houston, Texas,

    Version

    990 Downloads

G'Day Simtropians, This map of Houston comes courtesy of a request by old mate Portie. Thanks mate. Houston is a large port city in Texas. Named in honour of the then el Presidente of the Texas Republic, Sam. This is a real world map and was produced with dem and satellite data, it is accurate in scale and terrain and requires Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer. If using terra one requires a 64bit OS and terra need to be patched with the 4GB patcher. Details are in the readme. The map measures 81.92km x 61.44km. That is I think about all. Cheers.
