  2. Greetings I would like a modification to the ALL RCI ploppable buildings mod(bundled with the akar ui mod interface) . I would like the rci ploppables to cost something than being free(so as to create some balancing; you can place any building plop immediately regardless of street density and happiness(but land value deters you!) for a modest price (1k, 2k, 3k etc) or wait for it to grow on its own for free.Would you know how to do this?Regards

Actually I was hoping I could get some help here: I am currently investigating the RCI ploppable feature in the akar mod in which you can just plop any RCI building construction site(which will be be built of course) and I wanted to make a personal mod out of it in which I need to pay some amount of cash to place the ploppable ( instead of it being free ). I have struggled all day using SCP trying add the property scUnitConstructionCost and fix some value to a random item but it doesn't seem to work. When load my game, that plop is still free.Would you know how to do this?Regards

    First time using SCP, I delved into the bench package just because I know it was easier to find the properties for a single object. I found its construction cost and I also had found the population size somewhere else. I figured out that I could make a mod for this mod that charged you some money for plopping these buildings or plopping higher density buildings on lower density roads for balancing purposes. Also to find the buildings with different lot sizes to modify the population size

    There are some RCI buildings that have a slightly larger area lot tile than others, yet host the same number of people in it. I I havent found a mod to adjust room size for those RCI buildings. Larger area lot tiles should host a bit more people. For example High density R buildings have all room for 200 citizens regardless of lot size. If there is not such mod.. I would like some directions to edit those buildings lots

    Just tested it.. The park wont receive water nor eletricity... It might be solved with the electrical power lines mod, but i am not sure

    Great job man! I have a question: Is the pedestrian path functional when it is not connected to a road? In the pictures below I run out of space to place a park in the middle(I could place a Parklet, next to the mayor house without bulldozing the $$ houses next to it, but I want to add something like a fountain or a square park, and parklets additional modules just let you add other parklets of same type ( Actually, I was also looking for a mod that let you add any type of park module to a main park so you could combine for example parklets+ other parks... or $$ nature parks + $$ sports.. oir $$$ plaza + $$$ formal.. etc but could not find anything) So If I build a Pedestrian road behind the mayor house and that is not connected to the roads ( yet it is close to the parklet), pedestrian will walk it? will they access the fountain? will it be functional? Regards

    Interesting... too bad that it is quite unrealistic that cars merges with each other at intersections because basically you don't have a collision system in Simcity 2013 thus no accidents at all.

    No intention to disrespect this mod, but help me imagine how realistic can it be for aprox 10k people to fit inside a megatower level.. 800 is still hard to imagine Just help me... my OCD demands it

Greetings So I just started building in my second map, being this Trinity point, and it happened that when I zoned for residential in the boundaries of a high-wealth zone effect(provided by the aquarium plaza on the left) some kind of lake originated instead of a building. At first I thought.. Ok..maybe it is some kind of high-wealth pool.But honestly I think it must be a bug. I can't bulldoze it and can't query on it. It's indeed a lake and not a visual glitch because If I try to build a road on it a pop-up message notifies me of wrong bridge placement. I am not using any mod, just the vanilla simcity with the official DLCS. So, has it happened to you before? Regards. EDIT: Oh wait after inspecting the lake I found the building using my x-ray vision(Happiness MAP). It is in the bottom of the lake.. COOL PD2: Lakebug2 is a gif(so the low quality) EDIT 2: Bulldozing the now clickable mansion beneath levels back again the terrain

    @Tarkus oh . Thanks for that description about modding. Now I can imagine the complexity of the solution needed. Hardcoded files are a put-off for me. I Thought there was a special IDE to mod the game in an easier way. I guess I'll drop it then. @CorinaMarie Nvm, no offence caused
