  1. Actually, that's just a corner of my region ......... ....and as you see there is much still to do!
  2. Before I show you my more recent work, here is one tile I worked on from a year ago. Since this regional shot was taken the tiles to the North of Ayden Ridge have been filled. The red terrain has changed as well. Ayden Ridge itself leads up to Mount Ayden which overlooks the center of Lazarou City A Mosaic of Ayden Ridge The House Of Haunted Memories Around this time I was busy finding my way around lotting. Expanding on SFBT's low wealth park set my new lots paint over all of Ayden Ridge, offering spectacular walks and cycle rides for the fit and active. Here I've blended in a residential with the surrounding parkland. Residents of this block like to pine for The Earth That Was in between making Art or having sex in the woods. As always pop culture references illustrate the city. There are at least two Battlestar Galactica and David Bowie references in Ayden Ridge. Bobbie Gillespe from Primal Scream was on the radio when I named a tower after him Fun with BLAM Signage! Tracy Helfer was Six in Battlestar Galactica and Darth Jar Jar is an amusing but probably incorrect theory about that irritating character's true nature in Star Wars
    You truly are a King!
So glad to see some Simmars content again. Were I any good at BATting I would have a go myself.
    Beautiful Indeed
  3. I've only just found out, damn that year! Such a sparkling member of this community, ever helpful and positive in my experience, A tragedy.
  4. I am running Gmax with BAT and using Sketchup 2016 to import ready made buildings into SC4. My question is about night-lighting. Is it easier to seperate the meshes for windows and doors in Sketchup and then export them to 3ds to add the materials is GMAX? I have exported some lovely models but when it comes to night they are all dark. It's early days for me on using BAT but I am already very excited at the possibilities for creating content!
  5. Wonderful work, I like your style!
  6. Admittedly I am quite high right now but this is absolutely beautiful! I like your style of city building anyway but this takes it on to another level, well done!
  7. Thanks guys, it's all been a good learning experience. I finally split the Lot into 3 and they are behaving. I did notice some saving problems with the central lot (which contained the original building I started with.) Perhaps it was a problem with the building IDs or something like that? I am not a coder so I'm afraid the mere mention of the word "hexadecimal" give me a headache! I'll just stick to splitting my lots to avoid that prop limit. Anyway, here is the finished product, Dr Anders San University. I've since created residential lots that compliment the main University complex.
  8. I've split them up further (11x16, 14x16 and 15x16) but I'm still getting save issues. Is there a way to total the number of props?
  9. I think my problem was the lot was too big (40x16) for the amount of props I wanted to put on it. I noticed that Loteditor was missing out base textures (see the image attached) when it saved, which shouldn't be possible. So I've split the lot (26x16 and 14x16) and it's working now.
