  1. Yeah I have the same problem just had to create my own region. Been about 24 hours and no one else has joined.
  2. That'a awesome I might try that I'm out of ideas for what to do in my city I'm kind of stuck.
  3. Not a bad idea but I already have pretty huge hi-tech industrial demand. I have a city of 110k and I also added the science wing to the university which increases demand to industry. I bet probably earlier in the game that would have been a good idea though I will keep that in mind for next time.
  4. Yeah it seems like if you build it in an industrial sector it cna help the industrial desirability, but yeah I'm pretty sure other than that the University far surpasses it in all other ways.
  5. It doesn't seem like you would need one but I wondered if anyone knew different.
  6. I tend to draw roads pretty much in a gridlock pattern for efficiency. So I have a bunch of squares. I tend to do mostly residential then every now and then I'll fill in a random square with commercial. I'm not sure if this is the best though. In Sim City 4 commercial was supposed to be in a centralized region surrounded by as much commercial as possible. I'm imagining the same is true for SimCity 2013?
  7. Haljackey Reviews SimCity (2013)

Where is your Ontario accent? It's barely distinguishable. You spending too much time down south. Good review. Have to agree. Disappointing release. Especially considering it's been such a childhood classic. Best we can hope for is patches.
  8. Air Pollution Problems

I know traffic is one of the main sources of pollution for commercial and residential if your roads are packed you might consider mass transit to get a few cars off the road. But other than that I'm not sure what to tell you.
  9. Man my game is d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g and after a bit I realized why. Cheetah and Llama speed seem to be the same. When I switch back and forth the clock doesn't go any faster or slower. Is this a feature temporarily disabled to aid server issues? Or is it a 1 in 1,000 bug or something I just bumped into? Anyone else had this?
  10. Nice logic. Not. If he claims to like the game it would sell more thus more profits thus more cut. He may like the game but don't be "surprised" when he endorses a product which is the means by which he makes his living. And what? Could he say he didn't like it? I'll bet you there's some kind of clause in his contract where he couldn't say a game was terrible.
  11. Doesn't he get a cut of profit as the original creator if EA publishes whatever Maxis software is on the market? Of course he's behind the new direction.
  12. Yep, no mention of a one-time "lifetime acheivement" though eh? Does that mean it happens everytime? I hope not.
  13. I think they're okay. They cut down on trash that saves money. And gives you some extra resources. Recylcing isn't really profitable in real life either.
