(It may be a pathetic bid...

    ...but at least I'm self-aware)!

  2. It's amazing how this game keeps chugging along. Fantastic work everyone; @Simmer2 and @Dreadnought in particular! I don't have too much to show for myself, just a bit of work on my new suburbs: Enjoy!
  3. Just simply beautiful... As one would naturally expect. Thanks for the tip on the Moonlights canals - just downloaded 'em!
Awesome mod, and thanks for including my own props!
    Interesting aesthetic using vanilla props.
  4. Great list - love the captions. Thanks for creating this! :-)
  5. This has such a great "feel" to it. Thank you for using a number of my BATs - I'm pleased to see them used with such great application. Bravo!
    Fantastic work as per usual.
  6. I never made any BATs...

    (the BATs made me)

  7. Oh don't worry, I'll never drop urban decay! One of the tenets of my whole urban decay thing is that it facilitates the use of MMPs. I believe mixing MMPs and lots together provides the best SC4 experience, not just plopped lots or a bunch of randomly placed MMP's; it's a nice balance. Grunge lends itself well to that, as do urban farms and some other things I've been exploring: As far as sound barriers go, they'll be generic enough to fit in any situation; new, old, urban, suburban - whatever! That sort of ambivalent, neither "here nor there" approach I feel, should make my BATs hold up better over time, and be more useful to a greater number of people. Fortunately, concrete walls are inherently utilitarian. @DavidDHetzel Do keep in mind that I'm in school for a few more months, and also a busy practicing artist. I am always open to suggestions though. Let me hear 'em!
  8. Yes - just a few small things like sound barriers (similar to Deadwood's old but venerable set), suburban houses, and a public pool. Maybe even a shiny new gas station, to boot! As far as larger projects go, I'm becoming more interested in eco-friendly urbanism, near-future urban design, along with modernist, brutalist, deconstructivist, and a bit of contemporary design (e.g. van der Rohe, Gehry, Philip Johnson, Le Corbusier) but with postmodern pastiche. It's a mouthful, I know... In particular though, I want to explore urban farms.
  9. This just in... It's been in the works for a while, but my decrepit, err... "gently used" strip mall is now available for download. Follow my BAT thread to stay updated for similar future releases, and more!

Thank you for looking at one of my low-income neighbourhood stores; something you could expect to see in the rougher ends of town. Featured here is Fabland; a take on the often-decrepit Fabricland that dots the strip malls of my home town. Aside from the anchor store, a couple of small, generic, convenience stores pay the rent for this little mall. It is a growable 5x4 CS$ lot. The building is Dark-Nite compatible.
