    A long, long time ago...
  1. It seems like they are in a tough place, because of the Planet Offer they can not allow alot of options. You couldn't really design your own subway because thats not availible in solo mode, or any mass transportation (well i guess you could, you just wouldn't be able to use what you made). You can't really create landmarks because thats apart of the Planet Offer blueprint system. As far as any themed buildings go thats part of the reason you pay montly to get new buildings created by MC on Planet Offer. I could be wrong but my best guess is any MC approved custom content ablity will be a long way down the road, they probably have to run out of ideas first
  2. No plugin,no own map

as far as plugins go the only thing i've read from MC in this forum is http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=370&threadid=110186&STARTPAGE=4&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear The SC4 plugins definitely won't work with Cities XL, sorry. As said elsewhere, custom content is something that will start slow and which might not be done in exactly the same way as it was for SC4 due to the fact we will support the game over a long period of time. We'll provide more information as we actually progress on this
  3. Biggest Failure of CXL?

CXL's biggest failure, is that it's not a year from now, the game seems like it's got a good engine, the graphics are impressive. There is tremendous potential in the game, alot of tweeks and fixs need to be made.
  4. Constructive Criticism And Ideas To Improve Cities XL

As far as 27. Official forums on CXL website. I sent an email saying the same and this is the reply I recived Dear Jennison, first of all thanks for your interest in Cities XL and for your suggestion, We inform you that the forum at http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/index.cfm?FTVAR_SUBCAT=399&subcatname=Cities%20XL%20Forum is an official one. EG Do you want a city of polution or a green city. Considering the maps themselves many of them do not have all resources availible you have no choice but to trade. So yes it seems like they are treating it as an expolit when the core principles of the game lead me to belive that it's supposed to be a feature. The games kinda being skizo with itself lol. As far as a push towards planet offer, I would think that game desiners would try to provied more content, more options, or more features giving an advantage to encourage users to subscribe instead of removing or nerfing features from solo to do it.
  6. Solo Trading

I can almost understand the 4 to 1 ratio, but really buying 1 costs 100 a piece and buying 100 costs you 104 a peice. Why are geting penalized for buying more? And the opposite is applied to selling, selling one is 25 a piece and the price is lowered as you go. Whats the point of having the other multiples? if buying and selling 1 at a time is always the best option I don't see the point of the rest.
  7. Forum
