Heavy rain has been affecting Mangdu the past few days... The heaviest in years...

moreeeerainnnnnnnn.png

Even Kaisung Dam in the north of Gichang River has been opened to avoid overflowing in Lake Kaisung.

rainnnnnnn.png

Parts of Gichang River have risen to over 30cm.

evenmorerainnnnn.png

Some flights in Mangdu have been cancelled due to the rain.

rain.png

Thankfully East Canal which is connected to Gichang River has not overflowed or many parts in Central Mangdu could be flooded.

Off to another city in Kaisan! This time it's Mangdu...

m3iQa.jpg

Let's start by visiting this temple... It was built thousands of years ago on an island, however due to rising sea levels much of it is now partially underwater.

RND1e.jpg

Misuko Highway also known as the Floating Road is a highway that runs along the south coast of Mangdu. This section is near Mangdu Wheel where you can see another city across the sea on a clear day.

ij6u3.jpg

Now we're in the City Centre of Mangdu, where modern architecture have started to take over the old buildings and transforming the city into the fastest growing city in Kaisan.

usITQ.jpg

Here is the waterfront of Mangdu. Ferries to other cities begin their journeys from Mangdu Waterfront Ferry Terminal.

r7IFV.jpg

To end this update, here is a causeway called Toshiro Link. Alongside it is the only monorail line in Kaisan.

Now that you've seen a few of the cities in Kaisan, which city would you like to see more of? Taiko, Nanning or Mangdu? Happy holidays! ^_^

Nanning

Hazani Pratama: Thanks.

Adjiebrotot: It's a sidewalk mod from a Japanese website, forgot what it was.

TekindusT: Glad you enjoyed it!

Kruness: Thank you very much.

wcraig: CB Shihama, mah boy :P

Mastof: Thanks.

NMUSpidey: Thanks, if you don't have it, it's from Bripizza

MilitantRadical: Thank you!

u6zAm.png

We're visiting the city of Nanning today :O The city is tied between Kaisan and China, with the Yong River being the border of both countries. Nanning has and still plays apart in the history of relations with China.

YOo1e.jpg

Hui Temple is an iconic landmark of Nanning being the first temple ever built in the city.

lr0rl.jpg

One of the most iconic memorial parks in Nanning is the Gongji Memorial Park.

PGVzs.jpg

Maple Bridge or Feng Bridge as it's more commonly known is one of the main cross-border bridges connecting Kaisan and China. The interchange serves as a transitioning from Left hand driving to Right hand driving and vice versa. To the left of Feng Bridge is Jiangnai Bridge which is under construction.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Sadly, today there have been bomb attacks in the city. First a residential tower in Downtown and then Jiangnai Bridge causing the closure of all crossings between Kaisan and China as the police believe it was plotted by Chinese Anti-Kaisanese residents.

It's time to visit the Shihama District of Kaisan's capital city Taiko.
