This Island off the coast of North Carolina has been around for centuries but just recently it has become a vacation hot spot with it's historic buildings and its perfect beaches.

There is no shortage of beaches on our island. Visit one of our 22 beaches where each has its own festival at nightfall.
See farms full of fresh produce and historic buildings...
Island Highway loop number 1 runs all the way around the island and is often tree lined. Our farms have a rich heritage stemming from the English and Dutch that settled here in the early 1700's.
Get used to the feel of the seasons in Hampton Island.

The Hampton Pier is the best place to cast out. Pictured above is the pier at a rare time as usually it is crowded with fishermen.
Diving tours are leaving from the marinas hourly to explore the islands many coral reefs.
Drive inland and you will be met by endless farms and crossroad towns...
The only stoplight in the farming district is surrounded by motels and retail shops.
Many wealthy residents want to get away from the coast where there is the bustle of tourism and get to the more quiet life of the country
The Church on Main Street has one of the oldest pipe organs in North Carolina. It is almost 125 years old!
