Observatory

Welcome to the observatory of Thule. it is a place of extreme meditation and reflection. only the wisest monks are allowed entrance.

clearly from this view, one is able to see the beauty of the inlet harbor:

i apologize for the unannounced hiatus (almost 2 weeks)

It was work-related. but i decided never to quit/get fired from my job, so it is my duty to work.

RESPONSES

@adrianor: its a NAM product, i think its called "rural roads plugin"

@NMUspidey - thanks i hope that i am creative.

@tekindust - i've found recreations to be limiting, but do you live in segovia? i've seen it on 'google-earth' it is far more beautiful then Newark, Delaware (where i live and work).

@heitomat - medieval style was not my original intention, although i do find the time period to be fascinating and i am relatively familiar with the subject.

@Schulmanator and angel_of_rivers - thanks for your support!

NOW, in order to complete this entry, here is a picture:

this entry is amateur, i know. but it is meant to signify a triumphant return to the game. expect the future.

REPLIES

@iowndiscti, Reikhardt, ComradeTaco

- Thanks! glad you enjoyed it.

@Evillions and heitomat
- i know, i was skeptical about the turbine, i've redone that section in the mosaic of this update...tell me what you think or feel free to suggest a utility BAT or some kind of resolution for rural/medieval power needs.

..but remember...Thule is fantasy, it is not a real place/time. it has no designation in terms of the 'real-world' ...it is just purely an expression of design and imagination. however, that does not mean it cannot have consistency and grace...so i've removed the turbine, thanks for the comments.

@9988 and dannymc92

- no, those farms are from SC4devotion.com. register, and they need a lot of dependencies so be prepared. but the farm 9988 is referring to is from 'citynut' and i was surprised to see it develop because it requires CAM which i had removed in order to use 'inCAMpatible' mods.

Island Ruin - FOUND

THANKS for all the awesome comments. my farm/flora experiment seems successful....the real trick is heblem's MM desert flora mod.

I'm going to stick with the original "thule" region, even though it is the largest region and most difficult, it offers the most variety of terrain. thanks for the imput.
