Today we gonna visit Volent, a small suburb east of Ismeport, where we went earlier.

Talkin 'bout Ismeport: the mayor listened ad your advice and a HTparc has been build, along the roads some flowers were planted, so it' also a bit of a parc9.gif

Ismeport

Today we're going to Ismeport, or like the locals call it:

"our Venice"

Ismeport is build on a several Man-made Islands, once it was a

Trading port, now it's the Touristic capital of the country.

at the parkinplace is a map with the names of all the islands.

after a while we take the first exit, Ertensvelt.

There's nothing here, only some shops and diners for the truckers wich are coming from abroad.

In the weanwhile it's already getting dark, luckilly there's a bungalowpark here.

We're getting up very early, at 6.30 we've some breakfast and than everybody gets in the bus

We go under the highway, now we are on the Baaiweg (Bayroad), at the end we take the bridge over the Ertuman Inlet

now we're in the city of Ertuman, you can see many $$ and $$$. but there are also some poor houses destroying the beautiful view

Here is where the city is famous for: The wall between Boven (Up) and beneden (down) street, upperstreet is going to the residentials,

Down is going to the bussiness district, we take Upperstreet

We go up, on Burgermeesterstraat (Mayorstreet), here we'l met the mayor of Ertuman, Gijs Vreemde.

After a Delicious meal, we could use some after this Journey, the mayor tells us his problem,

what would he do with the area between the highway and Bayroad, Industrial, Residential $

( there's no demand anymore for $ & $$$) both or something else? Vote!

thanks for coming all to the border, all of you here got the job, as a team of foreign advisors, wich many people couldn't

the organisator wants o tell something about his "Great" country and starts to tell something about  the Highways

"The A1, were we're currently driving on is the first and only Hihgway in this country, it runs from Streggelen, were we're now to the community Verdeijpont.

In evendin we don't pay any roadtaxes, but we've a higway vignet, wich you can buy at the border."

1307 the name Evendin is mentioned for the fist time, it is a county in

northern Germany, the count is Joachim I.

1501 Count Jan II gives orders to build a castle near sea.

1547 Jans' castle is finished, the people called it "Ens".

1600-1750 the golden age, Evendin trades with the Hanze and the republic of seven united Netherlands.

1816 Napoleons army is demolished at Waterloo, Evendin gets independence.

1821 The former count Kalle II becomes the fist king of Evendin, het makes a modern and efficient country out of it.

1902 the city of Udewen was founded, wich is the capital now.

1940 Hitler ads the kingdom at its own thirth empir

1945 Evendin gest independence again

2010 Evendin is a country with a high wealth, education and health level
