CONSTRUCTION BUG BITES EASTBURG
REPLIES ARE DONE IN THE COMMENTS SECTION OF EACH UPDATE.
Today's update is a bit of a shorter update, with 5 pictures. After a long time, we are back in Eastburg! Several new construction projects have been started as demand for housing, retail and officespace have skyrocketed as Windemere continues to grow. Today we are going to look at several projects which have started. So lets go have a look!
On a dark night, like so many others, Shoppers Food Market was closing for the night, for the final time. The owner of the location has sold the land to a developer who plans to develop the site for new office space. The development will mark a huge change to the Downtown Eastburg skyline.
Only a matter of weeks later the store has been demolished. The site has been ploughed, a construction is beginning on the first building. The building is already fully leased, after only 2 weeks taking leases. The next building is expect to put up spaces for lease within a month. Construction is expected to commence once it is 50% leased.
Construction has also begun on a new residential project. The project is going to have single family homes and medium-denisty condominium buildings. Some new retail will also be part of the project. This section will the bulk of the condominiums.
On the other end of the new project, we have this construction site. It is going to be home to Eastburg's second elementary school as Eastburg Elementary is operating over-capacity, and this development is expected to add even more students.
Here is a zoomed-out view of Downtown Eastburg, the site of the new residential/commercial development and the surrounding Eastburg.
That's all for today! This update was a little shorter than the past few, but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless! We will be checking in again soon as the development bug will continues to bite Eastburg for a while to come... As always, hope you've enjoyed and are looking forward to the next update!
