When Holahu was growing, the city was planned to be a home to 1,5 million inhabitants. But the rapid immigration rate has brought people from all over the world to Holahu. Most of the people in Holahu are americans, middle easterns, british and asians. Due to this rapid population growth, the cities population has more than doubled to over 3 million inhabitants.The road system of Holahu is was not designed to handle this many vehicles, so Holahu suffers from big traffic problems. The city has a working rapid transit system including 4 metrolines and 9 buslines with a tram system planned. But many areas are not covered by the rapid transit network.
One of these areas is Holahu Office City. Office city is home to over 300 companies, and over 700,000 people work there. The roads
covering Office City are small and were desinged to handle about 300,000 people. Traffic around Office City is the worst during
morning and the afternoon rushour. The Transportation Berau has a tramsystem planned for Office City for the future, but the traffic is getting worse everyday.
