Inspired by the art deco buildings around the Portsmouth, UK area, Quay House is a large (at least by the standards of the 1930s) eight story building in the functionalist style.
The boxy building is broken up by complex massing and many terraces to allow air and sunlight to permeate the building, both of which were a very serious component of any good early 20th Century architecture. The main feature however is the off-centred granite clad staircase and lift riser with an oversized clock.
The lot comes in two flavours: a growable High-Wealth Commercial Office and a ploppable Clinic, which is found in the Health Menu and is comparable to the in-game hospital in terms of capacity and coverage radius. Both lots are 3x3.

NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE:
This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite.
You must keep only one file - depending on which version you use. If you are unsure whether you have a night-darkening mod installed, then choose the Maxis night version. Regardless of which file you choose to keep, make sure you DO NOT delete the Lot File!
If you use the dark nite version, you will need a dark nite mod.
To ensure proper functionality, make sure the following files are in your plugins:

A NOTE ABOUT PARKING TEXTURES:
Sadly, if there appears to be any parking used in the content picture as either part of, or adjacent to the custom content in question, it has now come to the ridiculous scenario of having to write a blurb about parking textures given yet more comments received form only one or two users (comments which incidentally are only made on my lots - I note that other active Batters use Maxis parking lots all the time and receive no negative comments, such is the double-standard). Please note that I will use whatever parking textures I feel like on my lots. If you want something else, then use the lot editor.
Please also note, that this particular lot is only a 3x3 so what you see in the picture is a separate lot placed behind the building; you are therefore free to place your own parking lot or not (as the case may be).
To install, simply unzip the contents of this file into your plugins folder.
This is a Hospital for your cities desgined in the 1960's Brutalist Style.the capacity of the hospital is 12000 and has a coverage ca. a whole medium city tile the lot is 5x10 (quite big complex)

First at all,-I´m not new to sc4,I have played it since 2004,but I hav´nt played for some years.
I have played allmost all the new City builders,but SimCity 4 is the only real "build a city" game for me :),-because(and many other reasons) so far I hav´nt reached more than 650.000 population,in a single city,and that was with the latest NAM installed.
I have SimCity 4,-the very first and original on a disc,-but unfortunately I can´t play it on modern computers,so digital SC4 Deluxe it is.
No problem in that,-other than ALL the problems you all know about,-It´s simply unplayable without Mods.
And mods is what this thread is about.If I had the knowlegde to customize a Hospital,or any other buildings for my use, by using the Lot Editor and iLive Reader I wouldn´t make this post,but I simply can´t figure out how to use these great tools.(58 yeays old,and never had an I pad,-or what ever the name are....;))
So here is my little pray for you Modders.
I would really like a Hospital and an Elementary School with a capacity of 9-10.000,and with 3 times the cost for both the ambulance and daily running.
Nothing ells must be changed.Just a lot that act as 3 Hospitals or Schools
I know there´s a load of those costum Civic both here and Devotion,but I hav´nt found anything that fit my "style".
Can YOU do this for me?please?

This is the Troy Gasholder Building, built in 1873 for the Troy Gas Light Company in Troy, New York state, USA. Designed by Frederick A. Sabbaton, it housed a telescoping iron gasholder of the type found in Gascooker's prop packs and default Maxis industrials.

Historical accuracy caveats
The prototype lot would be close to 3x8, including a coal shed, maintance shop, and pipelines. In the interests of space, this lot presents a small storage and maintenance yard, along with a propane filling station. The real building is red brick with stone courses. This lot features a prop family with two alternate versions to fit in better with different areas: brown brick, and whitewashed/boarded up. The boarded up version has no night lighting. However, the small greenspace on one corner is found in the real life version, which is located in a residential neighborhood of 2-story rowhouses.

Simply unzip this folder to your plugins folder.
Bulldoze any examples of this obsolete Victorian folly which remain in your cities, then remove this folder from your plugins folder.
The HD models share their IDs with SD, and there have been no change to prop descriptions, so it should be possible to upgrade without bulldozing existing plops.
Remove the "Plugins/CT14/Troy Gasholder Building v1.0" folder to a backup location, then move the v1.1 folder into Plugins, as for example "Plugins/CT14/Troy Gasholder Building v1.1".
I have made a modern hospital deticated to the person of ure choice!. This Hospital has a much moregrater capacity and more advanced than a medical center. This Hospital Can cover one full medium city and would be a great add-on to a metropolitian area! If u have any problems, pm me.
