Appomattox Court House
The Appomattox Court House was the location where General Lee signed the surrender of his Army of Northern Virginia during the American Civil War. I created this image ages ago for a CJ entry and I thought it would be a perfect fit for this competition (hopefully it can still be entered). I was inspired by this photograph while making this recreation, which was taken around the time of the surrender.
When I entered this through the submission page it deleted all my info, so hopefully it works the second time around. Thanks
