    Please Note:  As explained here, due to limitations in the Gallery software, some Challenge submissions may include a larger version of the same image (e.g. for mosaics).
    Before voting, please check in the description and comments section to see if the author has posted one of these. However, it should not be a disadvantage if an author just has the required Gallery image.

      The first Sam's Club opened in April 1983 in Midwest City, Oklahoma in the United States. Sam's Club is named after the founder of Wal-Mart, Sam Walton. To purchase items from Sam's Club, one must purchase a membership. Many Sam's Club customers are small businesses (such as bowling alleys) that wish to offer customers a limited selection of food without the expense of having it delivered. In 1993, Wal-Mart acquired PACE Membership Warehouse and converted them into Sam's Clubs.
      This BAT was originally created by Bobbo662 (aka B62). Unfortunately, due to real life circumstances, he was unable to finish the lot. He graciously handed his work over to me to finish and subsequently upload for yall.

      In 1915, Marion Barton Skaggs purchased his father's 576-square-foot (53.5 m2) grocery store in American Falls, Idaho, for 1,089. By 1926, he had opened 428 Skaggs stores in 10 states. In the 1930s Safeway introduced produce pricing by the pound, adding “sell by” dates on perishables to assure freshness, nutritional labeling, even some of the first parking lots. Today, Safeway rakes in annual sales of an estimated sales $41 billion. After merging with the Albertson's supermarket chain, it employs over 250,000 people at more than 2,200 stores, making it the second largest supermarket chain in North America and the 11th largest retailer in the United States.   This BAT was originally created by Bobbo662 (aka B62). First time posting here. Thought I'd share some pictures of my detailed (unfinished) city. I stopped building this one a while back and have just recently started a new city due to a whole load of amazing new mods/assets out there! So before this city goes off to the graveyard, here's where I got to (Unfortunately some props missing as I last played this one months ago...)

      All I can say is, this mod saved the day when it was released. Used to take 15mins + to load!

      Town - The main town.

      Train Yard - The main train yard next to the town.

      Airport - The city airport. VERY unfinished.

      Services - City services plus some intersections. (Kinda unfinished)

      University - Basic University within the town.

      Night - Just some general shots of the city at night. Again some places nowhere near completed but oh well.

      If you made it this far, thanks : ) I always try with my cities to make as much as possible functional. So the majority of car parks are all functional and minor roads through security checkpoints etc all get used. My only problem is I'll play for a few days then get bored with the same place and wanna detail somewhere else but it's all fun. Hope you enjoy!

      And just an overview for those interested...

      An old favorite of mine revisited... Here is a small set of modular lots designed to build your own marketplace in any size and shape around the Kingston Market Hall.

      DEPENDENCIES

      * Kingston Market (see notes below)

      * SG 01 Mega Props

      * Paeng Texture Pack v103

      ~ Optional ~
      * Small Market Hall by Kwakelaar

      DEVELOPER NOTES

      The needed dependency BSCBATProps Gascooker Vol04 is INCLUDED in the 'Kingston Market' install package from SC4D!
      * That file might also be inside one of GC's megapacks - I prefer the very small Vol04 though, as it contains no 'ballast'. Your mileage may vary!

      Kingston Market is a functional COM landmark with jobs (see in-game menu for details) - so it needs power, water and street access. There are no reward conditions. The original 'timed' functions were preserved.

      The Market Stalls are plain eyecandy landmarks, but need a little power and water.

      The three additional lots by Kwakelaar are optional. If you don't want to use them, delete that file (paeng_KingstonMarketStalls_Kwa.dat).

      All lots are at or near the end of your Landmarks menu with custom icons.

      INSTALLATION

      Just drop the whole bundle in your Plugins. You may also opt to install only certain items - remove the ones you do not wish to use. To un-install - first, bulldoze any lots built with this addon, then remove the complete folder from your Plugins.

      To keep your in-game menu tight, move all *.SC4Lot files from the dependencies to a safe location outside your plugins.

      SUPPORT

      Should you need support for these items please visit the
      PLEX on the STEX - Community Support Forums

      Enjoy!
