Please Note:  As explained here, due to limitations in the Gallery software, some Challenge submissions may include a larger version of the same image (e.g. for mosaics).
Before voting, please check in the description and comments section to see if the author has posted one of these. However, it should not be a disadvantage if an author just has the required Gallery image.

The Olympic Park

A brand-new picture from the city of Wolfskreut.

This time, the Olympics are in town. When the games are on, the roads are closed, so pedestrians can wander freely. Notice the concert and games in the stadium. It's all happening. ;)

Hope you enjoy.

One question, if I may. Where did you get the stage model in the right side of the pic? I really love it.

Hi,

It's one of the lots included in this package (see link below). I can never find it in the menus, probably somewhere in landmarks, so I just go the buildingplop and scroll down to "JENX_PARIS HOTEL DE VILLE" and then it is one of the lots there. There is also a farmers market and empty plaza lot, along with the actual building. :)

very nice! what's the name of the stadium please ?

thx :)

Both stadiums can be found on simcity.cn. I don't have the exact link at the moment. I'll put it here when I get it. Simcity.cn will need registration to download and the use of Google Translate/Chrome - unless you can understand it already.

Is there a tutorial i can follow for importing custom 3d objects i made into SimCity 4? like if i wanted to put a statue into a city in SimCity 4, how would i do that?
I know i would need to use a program called Gmax and building architect, but im not sure how to do it with that.
Also, would i need to resize the statue in Gmax first? and if so, how big would i need to make it?
does anyone know of any tutorial i could follow? please help <3

      Monthly cost: ~$80

Fits almost everywhere: lot size 1x2.
