Big Blue is a planet that is almost completely water (F-Zero wiki, http://fzero.wikia.com/wiki/Big_Blue ) On this planet the building literally come out of the water. How did I manage to do this in SimCity (2013)? Well the answer is "Skye's Regional Freeway Mod" (Download here) , that awesome tool that fixes the Space Center Great Work Glitch (see here). In Skye Storm’s video on youtube (here), he explains how although the regional freeway is designed to add additional entrances to the city, it also can create “rivers” (… well maybe if you want to go that route, but to me more like underwater roads). And thus, you also have the ability to place buildings underwater. Yes, underwater building! So the minute I saw this one thing came to mind right away, Bug Blue from the F-Zero series (well GX more specifically). Hope you enjoy whether or not you’re a fan of F-Zero, I think you can enjoy a city that literally grows out of the water.

Looking for active and cooperative mayors to join region and continue a supportive community. Experienced or new mayors encouraged.
Original SimCity 2013 only please, no Cities of Tomorrow (all other adaptations are ok, just ask before deploying mods) Be active in communicating and collaborating with other mayors. 2 map lots per mayor (Please ask before claiming more than one map lot), preferably just 1 to start and eventually we'll roll into 2 cities per mayor if they are not occupied completely. play at your speed, don't feel rushed. Just enjoy and have fun! lets get some awesome skyline pictures and let the creativity flow and learn a thing or two from one another. If you want to discontinue playing with this group just let me know and please abandon the map so i can manage it and clear it for someone else to play. I chose Rambling Badlands because of it's fairly linear arrangement of terrain (other maps are much too gradient/sloping and cause graphics issues), plentiful resources and allows 7 cities on each side of mountain range with 1 great work on each side. I personally thought it was a much better set up than just 4 mayors per region quadrant.
Also Rambling Badlands is extremely bug free.
Badlands is also a nice change of scenery from the traditional maps.
My Origin name is: Moogu69
I have been an active mayor since release of this title with 1300+ hours logged
so please message me if you're interested! cheers!
A set of turbulences for your rivers and streams.
You'll find narrow and wide pieces, both in straight and diagonal versions. They all sit on a 1x1 transparent lot and can be combined with PEG-PPond (Tahoe), PEG-Pond and PEG-Stream or ploppable waters by other creators as well.
LIST OF ITEMS
Narrow Short Straight Narrow Long Straight Narrow Short Diagonal Narrow Long Diagonal Wide Short Straight Wide Long Straight Wide Short Diagonal Wide Long Diagonal
Each piece comes in 2 variations that plop at random (16 models all in all).
~ none ~
Recommended to use with Free Waters Mod.
The turbulences are batted props (instead of the textures used in Vol 01), so there are less straight edges and a bit of overlap onto the next tile.
You can combine them with any ploppable water and to some extent also with Pond and Stream pieces, mainly the straight items.
Some of the pieces are also suitable to make transitions between the various available waters - just be creative and find the right combinations.
There are no other props on these lots - so you have complete freedom to dress them with any Major Mode Flora that suits your theme.
The Turbulences and Transitions Volume 01 (texture based) is available to download here.

Do ALL trees -Maxis and 3rd. parties- really influence pollution ?
I started a new city for this purpose. So I built an electricity factory in one corner, some distance away laid several industry zones, some more distance away i put some commercial zones, and still further away and build the residential zones. There a tile free from the zones and the road along one and/or two sides of the zones.
Then I peppered those empty zones everywhere with ALL kind of trees. Then I ran SC4 and let it run for almost three years. Then I checked the pollutions levels and I didn't notice much change. Ergo, my first line.
