  • These days I was changing all my downloaded water mods with SimCity4 tools, to give them a better values... costs, energy pollution, etc.

The problem is that with the Water pump mods: red hole water, nexis water, hydro dam, etc.. when I change any value with any program the water capacity IN GAME get stupid values like 6000000000 cu/month.

When I review the water values with simcity 4 or plugin manager or ilive-tweaker the value is just the right value.

I tested it three times doing the process from the start and the conclusion is that if I change the water producer value it is messed forever, and I must use teh original copy.

Anyone has any idea to solve this issue ??

    Thanks in advance

When changing the values of downloaded lots, make sure to bulldoze all of these lots in your cities before editing them! The current values (capacity, usage etc.) are stored in the city file, so when you change the values of a lot, it doesn't match with the information that is stored in the city file anymore, so you get wrong values, or even worse, the game could be screwed up completely when you enter the city again.

  • First of all, Thanks for the answer but...

I test all mods in new cities I mean:

    1.- I modify the mod
2.- go to Simcity start a new test city in an empty region and check the modifications.

Still I don't know what the problem could be
