Algorithmic / Fractal Building Generation

I've long been of the opinion that SC games need an algorithmic system to generate each building uniquely as a product of environmental factors.


I was searching for algorithmically generated artwork when I came across this...



I thought this system would be great in supporting gradual building growth (a la CAM) and could show you the history of a building in the information panel - where it came from and how it has developed over time.
