Tourism since update 6.0

Since the new update where u need a large amount of industry to sustain even a small amount of commercial ( my game experiences ) has anyone built a tourism city with no industry? I have 3 full working cities with industry and a specialisation already in the cluster! Will these supply the other city?

Does the density of the industry change the amount of freight orders fulfilled?

Any sort of help will b great!

Yes, you get more freight at each density level, but the number of workers goes up to. Freight goes 90,180,270 while workers go 26,172,1620 low dirt industry.

You can probably spot the problem there.

  • Haha yes, it's a strange problem!! As u will have high density commercial aswell which I'm assuming consumes more freight, this will also consume jobs!!

Very frustrating to find a good balance!

It's a challenge to find a balance, that's for sure. I think a combination of industrial buildings, and lower taxes on businesses, should help the situation.

I recently started a tourism city. I'll be playing it this week, and it does have some industrial worked into the city, when I previously would not have.
