Plastic and Alloy

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have one city producing plastic and another alloy. I have a processor factory in another city. How do I direct my two alloy and plastic cities to send trucks from their trade depots/ports to the processor factory city?

You can't direct delivery trucks to specific cities. All you can do is export to the global market. To that end, your two primary material cities (the plastics city and the alloy city) don't help your processor city at all. Your processor city still has to import plastic and alloy from the global market in order to supply the processor factory (though you can get a little plastic and alloy from a local recycling plant, but not enough to supply your processor factory entirely).

As the post above this one states, you can gift resources between cities. However, the time it takes to do so means that this is not a viable supply-chain solution for your processor manufacturing city.

Create Trade Depot (From Specialties Global Trade) Edit the Trade Depot to hold Processors, Plastics, and Alloy.

Import Plastics, and Alloy. Export Processors.

In Processor Factory Check to Allow Local to give you the Plastics and Alloy that are being imported.

Once Built The Processors Will go Right Back to the Trade Depot to be Sold,
