    • Are you using Windows 10 per-chance? It sees all files in Program Files as OS protected, if you modify them, it will revert the changes and restore the original files. But the key thing is, does SC4 correctly detect your NVidia card when set to Direct X mode and configured from NVidia control panel? Look in the Apps subdirectory where you installed SC4 and open MYCOMPUTERNAME-config-log.txt, it will tell you which card it was using during the last startup. If it does, but you get graphical issues/errors, that could simply be a driver incompatibility. If it's showing the Intel card there, SC4 is still failing to detect/switch to the dedicated card. This can be a problem on laptops, but shouldn't be an issue on a desktop machine.
    • I like the general concept. I wonder how difficult the idea would be to implement from our standpoint. Would you imagine this would be another required field for the uploader? Or would it be something a STEX reviewer would need to assign? What happens if a guru who's intimately familiar with loading custom content considers it easier than, say, me who's barely scratched the surface with CC? Like peeps who already have nearly all major texture dependencies installed could see a new item as quite simple since they already have the two dozen deps, but someone who just installed SC4 would find that item rather intimidating. And what about the zillion files already there? Would a team of peeps need to go thru every single one and assign the spoons difficulty level?
