"Did you ever notice that about us? We love to declare war on things here in America. Anything we don’t like about ourselves, we declare war on it, we don’t do anything about it, we just declare war on it. It’s the only metaphor, the only metaphor we have in our public discourse for solving problems: declaring war. We have to declare a war on everything; we have a war on crime, the war on poverty, the war on litter, the war on cancer, the war on drugs, but did you ever notice we got no war on homelessness? Huh? No war on homelessness... you know why? There’s no money in that problem, no money to be made off of the homeless. If you can find a solution to homelessness where the corporate swine and the politicians could steal a couple of million dollars each, you’ll see the streets of America begin to clear up pretty godd--n quick, I’ll guarantee you that!" - George Carlin

Yo, "rsc" and "Nonny Moose" -- Thanx for the input, guys --- Sounds like you may have hit upon something here.  I will check out the numbers and balance between R$, R$$, and R$$$.  I may have been pushing too hard on the R$$$ aspect and simply overlooked the fact that trying to invert a pyramid doesn't work very well.

Simpolitique Hello everyone !   If you : Are fluent in FrenchAre a talented roleplayerLike to control a political and economical entity such as a cityAnd that you feel you're able to manage a nation as whole  Then you may appreciate Simpolitique . It is not necessary to be a French native speaker : correct fluency is enough , and anyway there will always be a French native speaker to help you if you ask for it . It is a roleplay forum founded in 2003 , and the current version started in 2009 . The founding principle is that you create a country that you integrate to a certain background between nations that already exist and you will have to make your way to the top .   The game takes place on Simpoearth , the Earth on the Simpolitique forum . It is a fully fledged roleplay forum with all the elemental maps . Globally the Simpoearth is already divided in many territories , distributed among 7 main continents that cover all the human cultures which exist throughout the real world , and there are even special territories where you may create a society which has absolutely no equivalent on Earth . Please note however that Simpolitique is human-friendly only . Please , no extraterrestrial society ! At least , for now ... There are of course multiple climates and resources , with the last related to the first , for each territories .   For exemple , I created the country " Hokkaido " , with a japanese culture , onto the Makara continent , which is reserved for Asiatic cultures !   One of the great points of Simpolitique is the diversity of the possible creations : you have a danish traditionalist and conservative monarchy which is Thorval , you have a modern and democratic capitalist monarchy speaking Japanese and Chinese but with Islam as the national religion , you have a communist Yugoslavia and a Germanic technocrat republic - that to be really honest , I've never really ever understood myself - and so on . So you can see that mixing climates , political regimes and cultures can result in any color you like !   If you think it may interest you , feel free to navigate throughout our forum : http://www.simpolitique.com/
