MMP's (v. 1.0)

I have changed the TGI range from over 267 MMP so the range that I use is more efficient.
I you dont remove the previous MMP's you will have different objects when you try to rotate the object because of the same used ranges.
Or you will get conflicts!!!

Thanks for the help from all men on the community on Simtropolis and Simcity devotion!
Hope you enjoy them!

Tip for Damn Manager users:
For every object you will safe in your plugin the Damn Manager will make a DAMN_Root.dat.
You also need to remove the Damn_roots for the item you have safed of the previous MMP of my packs.
Refresh the Damn Menu items because your new MMP's have new corrected range.

Looks great, although I'd highly recommend including links for that long list of dependencies. Some are very hard to find.

This is great (I had already enthusiastically DLed the previous version, having almost all the deps). I gather from your comments that I must scrape it whole, but having a look at both folders contents, I wonder : are there some MMPs that are not doubles ?. Also, I have a few questions about the new deps : (1) WHICH “Urban Pack” ? (the only ones I have are the Sinburg Urban Beautification packs) ; and (just to be sure there are no other) (2) Is the Totem pole the Nexis one ?

This month we're hoping for a little bit of a boost this month or next, in addition to covering the regular bills, we could benefit from some hardware upgrades. STEX Collector's Set gifts can now be sent to you via digital download as well as regular mail if you wish! Every donation dollar goes toward keeping Simtropolis online and humming along. Your contribution counts! Hardware Upgrades As our website community software improves with more and more features, and as we bolt on additional features such as chat, the increased load to handle all these new toys is taking the server a bit to task. You may have noticed that we'd been forced to temporarily disable the chat as we worked out allocating resources for more optimal performance. Following this, we've applied a number of 'soft' changes such as caching options and experimented with server configurations (nginx as proxy, for example), so the hardware aspect is also an area we'd like to focus on. The last time we upgraded hardware was back in 2012, prior to the release of SC13. Your contribution means a lot! Your donation will go toward helping us to 1.) migrate to a newer server or 2.) at least get some ram/cpu/storage updates and any other infrastructure hardware or services. Donate and Get a Gift or Donate Any Amount Thanks so much! - Dirktator & The Admins

      Thanks xannepan!
This one is a MMP set based on Xannepan's trees for the Quais de Seine waterfront set. It has 24 different trees and 3 different fallen leaves, organized on 4 groups available on the mayor mode flora menu.
The groups are divided by season (autumn, winter and summer/spring), but the MMPs aren't seasonal, so they don't change according to the game date.

      A Painter's Patch

This will help the landscape painters among us - once installed you will be able to brush any flora MMPs right up to the shore and into the water of lakes, ponds, streams and rivers using ploppable water coming from SimPeg... You can camouflage any fixed shoreline or just create your own shores completely, no more plain straights and empty curves... ;-)

Aside from tweaking the shore lines you can 'paint' MMPs inside the water without using any extenders or other workarounds.

      This patch will work for

      * PEG Ponds

      * PEG Streams

      * PEG PPonds (Tahoe, including PEG Culverts and PEG Fords)

      * PPond Canal Kit (inc. Docks, Locks and Bridges)

      * SPAM Irrigation Canals (SPIC)

      DEPENDENCIES

      ~ none ~

Though the patches make only sense if you use any of the listed packages ;o)

      DEVELOPER NOTES

After unpacking you'll find a folder 'zzz_Free_Waters' - it doesn't really need to be the very last thing to load, but make sure it loads after all ponds, streams and pponds...

For a bonus the folder contains new larger water tiles as well - for the Ponds an additional 4x4 piece, for the Tahoe additional 2x2 and 4x4 pieces. They are in the 'Parks' menue along with the other water tiles.

Note: The installed patch will NOT take effect on already plopped landscapes. You need to either re-plop existing ponds and streams or just save it all for your new developments ;o)

And a word of caution - take it easy, brush by brush... else, before you know it, there is no more water to be seen!

      Happy painting ;o)

      KrashSpeed’s Mailbox Set

First I would like to give credit where it’s due.

I made the props, contributed a few ideas and a few suggestions.

SimCoug deserves most of the credit. This mod was his idea; he made the prop families, mmp’s, icons, and the read me.

      ======================================================================================

      DESCRIPTION:
Could you go 10 years without receiving a single piece of mail? Well, your Sims have - but that is about to change!
This is an all encompassing set of mail props that will cover your Sims postal needs from drop-off to delivery.

      WHAT'S INCLUDED?
      Props:
-10 different single mailbox props for each wealth level ($, $$, $$$ - 30 total models)
-14 different mailbox cluster props (seen in housing developments, etc)
-10 different mailbox unit props (often used in apartment complexes, etc)
-9 different post box props from 8 different countries (where you Sims can drop off outgoing mail)

      MMPs:
-Mailbox$_MMP allows you to plop 10 low wealth mailboxes
-Mailbox$$_MMP allows you to plop 10 medium wealth mailboxes
-Mailbox$$$_MMP allows you to plop 10 high wealth mailboxes
-MailboxCluster_MMP allows you to plop 14 different mailbox clusters
-MailboxUnits_MMP allows you to plop 10 different mailbox units
-PostBoxes_All_MMP allows you to plop each of the different countries post boxes
-PostBoxes_(different country name)_MMP allows you to plop the post box of the country of your choice (multiple clicks changes the orientation)

      Prop Families:
For those who use the Lot Editor, appropriate prop families have been created with these props in order to allow you to get more variety when creating lots.

      DEPENDENCIES:
None! But this should be considered a dependency pack for future lots that include these props.

      INSTALLATION:
Simply unzip the file and put place the folder in your plugins.
The 'Model' folder should remain in your plugin folder, but you can pick and choose which MMP files to include depending on you preference.

      DEVELOPER NOTES:

      SUPPORT:
For questions regarding this set, please feel free to visit Krashspeed's Test Area.

      SPECIAL THANKS:
Thanks to the gang over at SimPeg for all their suggestions and encouragement.

      Welcome back for more MMP's!
Its time to introduce a wider variety of sand colors and textures therefore I bring you SM2 Sands.
8 new colors and textures in 2 sizes. Large and small.
As a bonus I have included a twigs, tiny rocks and branches MMP which I named SM2 Beach Clutter.
Also as an extra bonus I made a nifty little wrecked boat that can be used either above or under water.
For a grand total of 18 separate MMPs!
All models are in HD, they are slope conforming and will also plop underwater.
(When plopping MMPs under water you may not see it plop immediately, if thats the case, please zoom out then in or rotate view and the MMPs will appear correctly)
Make sandy paths, beach scenes, mountain scene, lakes scene, construction scenes etc.
Making a coal mine lot? No problem! You now have black sand which can simulate coal bits and dust! Your imagination is your limit.
You will find them all under your Mayor menu.
      No dependencies!
Have fun and post some pics for everyone to see.

Textures and detail work on this, particularly the rooftop patio and pool areas, are really great, and give this BAT lots of life.

Apartment buildings have long been on my list to tackle BATting, just to add to the variety and compete with all the repetitive Maxis stuff.  With contributions like this, though, I feel like it wouldn't be worth my time, because mattb325 has them covered and done so very, very, very well.  Always a joy to see stuff like this on the STEX.

A great addition to custom content.  Still goin' strong after all these years, mattb325 continues to amaze me.

Definitely not the Minocqua, Wisconsin I've known through my life, but nice map anyhow. I do the same with cities if I can't think of a name, I just use something I know.

Nice BAT, would give 5/5, but attention here, folks!!! The Seaview Apartments model in this download has the same IID as the Cast Iron Lofts model from Don Miguel! So it won't grow the way it should! Needs to be corrected by hand!
  • Recent STEX Comments

    • The front of it is pretty much identical to "Cooley Law Stadium" (what Oldsmobile/Lugnuts Stadium is called these days) in Lansing, MI
    • Attention here, folks!!! The Seaview Apartments model in this download has the same IID as the Cast Iron Lofts model from Don Miguel! So it won't grow the way it should!
    • I know it's sized 2x1, but what kind of residential do I need to zone for this to grow? Light, medium, or high density? Or does it not matter? Anyone who can answer I appreciate it.
    • Love your work, but since a handful of files now from different users require offsite files that link to dead links I wish it was a rule here that all dependencies should be on site somehow. Thanks for the reup of the files...
    • I'm still working on the Maxis Vanilla tilesets presentation, but yeah its endless how many amazing artists have contributed to the SC4 repository over the past 14 years.  The problem with the tilesets and with RCI is that there's too much repetition.   I'm going to use for the first time a Maxis blocker that will eliminate all vanilla repetition and reveal whatever user created programming defines.  However, my project is not specific to agriculture.   We'll get back to that later.
