About This File

Hello guys!

I'm proud to present my first release at Simtropolis. The following package is part of a bigger seris of my take on some Brazilian Buildings.

This download consists of a set of both residential and commercial buildings, lots and props. The stats assigned to them are based on SC4 vanilla buildings' stats.

There are in total 10 commercial buildings and lots and another 28 residential buildings and lots, all in 1x2 lots.

This set only includes low-wealth and low density buildings. All are stage 1.

The buildings reflect mainly the architectural style of poor neighborhoods in medium and large cities of Brazil. They also fit perfectly in small town scenarios. I took inspiration from real life houses and shops located in various regions of Brazil, but nominally from the cities of Caruaru-PE, Recife-PE, São Luís-MA, Feira de Santana-BA, Maceió-AL, Garanhuns-PE, Quipapá-PE, Correntes-PE, Januária-MG, Montes Claros-MG, Jaguarão-RS, Vitória-ES, Laguna-SC.

I hope you all enjoy it! Please do contact me if you find any bugs or erros.

Dependencies: BSC Mega Props - CP Vol02

Installation: Just drop the folders located in the zip file into your Plugins folder

A little tip: Commercial buildings all have some sort of drawing of inscription in their front façade. This should help you distinguish commercial and residential lots

User Feedback

After 14 years of modding community - there are still fields almost laying idle. This world is so incredible rich of 'living' and me - not having the money to see it in original - SC4 somtimes is a substitute for the world tour I never made.

So thank you a tousand times for sharing this. Maybe one day I'll create a region where every city represents a part of the world. Just to wander around there. And this upload will be very handy then.

What Fantozzi said.

Jeez, most people are content uploading a building... you almost uploaded an entire freaking tileset! * And at what quality! Small houses they may be, but this upload is massive in volume and crazy impressive in terms of quality, too. Fantastic work and one of the highlights of 2017 already! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. *:)

Outstanding work. I love slum houses and poor man's buildings, so this is always welcome.

Are these Growable, and is there some way to ensure they don't dominate the landscape? I want to see other buildings besides this, obviously.

The sixth pack of restaurant relots brings you relots from various users as well multiple relots from the LBT team. Because of this you will need to download Starbucks and Carl's Jr. from an outside site. (A link will be provided below) If you choose not to download these two original lots, simply delete the lot files from this relot pack folder. Also, a few of the lots included in this pack may or may not provide jobs.
If you would like to clear up space in both your landmark menu in game and in your plugin files, you can delete the original lot file.
To plop some of these restaurants, you will need the lotplop cheat to do so.
      2x2 lots:
      LBT Subway
      LBT Church's Chicken
      LBT Jack in the Box
      2x3 lots:
      LBT Burger King
      LBT Starbucks (CaptialSimCity download)
      3x3 lots:
      3x4 lots:
      Kevdan25 Burger King (LEX download)
      4x3 lots:
      LBT Carl's Jr. (CaptialSimCity download)
      5x4 lots:

BSC MEGA Props SG Vol 1 BSC MegaProps CP Vol. 1 BSC Texture Pack Cycledogg Vol. 1 VIP Carpack vol1 SuperSHK MEGA Parking Textures 1.0.1 SHK Parking Pack You will also need to download these for the 2x2 lots and the 2x3 Burger King:

I'm having some problems with finding my asset in game. I made a second building for the 'modern low-rise living' set. It's a level 5 high residential who fits on a 4x2 grid. But somehow it just refuses to grow anywhere. Both buildings from the set are/will be published with RICO settings added, but to test it out myself I manually added them in RICO too, The first building (which is already published) show up just fine, the new second building however refuses to show up in the RICO tab, and yes I did reboot the map and even game several times.

So then I tried to make my own mini building theme with only a few buildings in it so mine will spawn more often, because of the 4x2 size it's pretty hard to force it, there are no low level buildings in that size so I make 4x3 zoning spots to let it grow (trying to avoid the 4x4 library). But when I'm in the Building Theme Manager I can't even find my own buildings, like the assets are disabled in the game.

But then I look them up in The Mesh Info and they are showing up just fine...

So can anyone please tell me why it's not showing up? What am I missing here? o_O

To say that this BAT is a direct copy of New College at the University of Toronto would be a lie; this building is fashioned from my own imagination. The general form, however is based on New College (i.e. brick walls, that funny curvy part, two interlocking structures...) I've uploaded this as a stage 5 R$ building. Though the real New College is a university owned residence, it also looks good as a low wealth housing block. Great care has been put into texturing this model; I created custom weathered textures for the walls and roof and a whole slew of window textures. Let me know what you think. Other stats: holds ~800 sims on a 4x3 lot

I have been gone for years. Lost interest in SC4, but thanks to The Sims Freeplay on Android, I wanted to play Sim City 4 again. I started downloading models, playing around with Google Sketchup and I am back into the BAT making.
If you recall, I made Pokémon BATs back in 2013 or so. I've made some Pokémon BATs in the last couple of weeks but Sim City lacked My Little Pony items.
Here we have a house based off of the houses in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. This is a R$$ house.
I have two versions. One with a few ponies: Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Rainbow Dash, and the non-pony Gilda. The other version is without the ponies. The Pony Props dat is included for the version with ponies.

    • Thank-you for making it clear how to connect the water pump.   It was a detail that I overlooked in my description because I was running the tests using the utility radius mod.   I think from now on in my descriptions I will offer to assist anyone that may have issues with making the lot work.  That may help preventing jumping to conclusions.  I'm including a new preview using @CorinaMarie 's graphic that shows how to connect the pump.
    • Ah! Howdy! Those are cars! Especially the red one shortens commuter times!
    • I followed the steps that came up but in the end there was an error message, "The system cannot find the file specified"
    • In nature, the complex of dance begins with single cells, tropisms, although independently motivated according to the nucleus responding to gravity, tides and light, but gradually all evolution can be seen as a dance of chemicals and forms.  The more complex the dance, the more complex the life-form.   When I watch male and female figure skaters I am stunned by the extreme complexity of coordination of physical, sensory, cognitive and pure ability of flight that my species is capable of.    Dare I say, I am honored to be human.   All our technology and art are just toys compared to the actual material ability of ourselves as conscious physical beings.  As well, in the sciences, male and female have unique cognitive and perceptual abilities that are complimentary and mutually facilitative.  There's no limit to what can be achieved by human beings who know how to dance.
    • The water texture is designed to show dynamic flow, a churning of the water as if an industrial process is taking place.   Its supposed to be clean fresh water, so it would appear more saturated blue with whitecaps.  The texture and saturation also helps to distinguish it as clearly water and matches the tone and texture of the surrounding buildings.   In my texture pack I designed 4 different water textures for different applications of light.   As well, the darker tone of the water would be natural to the depth and confined space where there would be less scattering of light. Go ahead and feel free to suggest another one, or one you can imagine that might fit better.  Thanks for the feedback.
