The "Arrêt" sign you used for France is actually a Quebec sign. France uses the English "Stop" sign.

Yup your absolutely right! :)

I thought it sound better when i'm called france but i will add your info.

Excellent job, and thank you!

I would again like to respectfully request that modders consider uploading an original pic of the modded item as it was originally released in-game.

In this example, I couldn't remember if the original had a white outline, or red outline with a white stripe (it was neither, lol).. Although I was certain there were no letters.. I still had to boot up the game to compare.

Just a nice way to check out the differences that have been made.  I hope modders will consider adopting the process of uploading the first picture as unmodified content (if applicable) as standard practice.

Thanks again!

ps.. I don't have CoT yet.. but when I do, and the game "futurizes", will it render the "Future" sign.. or how does that work?  You can only pick one, right?

thanks you very much for your compliments :).

Well you dont need CoT because its just an texture replacment and the Stop Sign for Cot use the Stop Sign of the normal version from SimCity (i think).

But btw i've no tested in CoT).

And yup the mod work when you install only ONE Stop Sign. (SimCity can not choose for you wich stop sign are draw in the game :))

thanks again for your review

      Hi all!
its been more than a year since i released something!
and i finally completed the German set i promised ages ago!
These new pylons have tons of little changes including a more realistic height and alot of new details.
but thats not all The sets are bigger now including even more pylons like
      -Anchor pylons
      -Switch pylons
      -Rivercrossing pylons.

The pylons are in real life arround 30 meters(or slightly higher)
and in simmeter its arround 60(because sims are 4 meters long)

So they dont fit that well with my older models

For more info check out the readme wich you can find VVV and in the rar file.
      have fun!

This set will eventually get an expansion pack including diagonal switch, anchor and river crossing pylons. but also more substation models and another pylon model.

      ---German themed high voltage pylons---
      ---------------------------------------
Models and lot files are created by Buzzit.
      ---------------------------------------
This package contains the following files:
      1x Straight pylon(model+lot)
      1x diagonal pylon(model+lot)
      1x Corner pylon left(model+lot)
      1x Corner pylon right(model+lot)
      1x Corner Pylon 90 degree(model+lot)
      1x Substation pylon(model+lot)
      1x Anchor pylon(model+lot)
      1x Switch pylon((model+lot)
      1x Rivercrossing pylon(model+lot)
      No dependencies required!

      ---------------------------------------
      Whats new?
      - pylons are twice the size of the other sets.
This time i used a character to help me modeling. After i knew that sims are accually 4 meters instead of 2 i remodeld
my standards to fit this. Thats why my pylons look so big compared to some maxis buildings. allthough they fit quite nicely
      with newer/custom buildings.
      -More details:
This one speaks for it self. The pylons now have more details.
      - Darker textures on the pylon it self with little dirt and rust spots.
-More pylon types including anchor switch and river crossing pylons.

      ---------------------------------------
      Known issues
      - The pylons catch fire sometimes. i dont know why these pylons do that. as my other sets arent having this glitch.
to fix this just send your firefighters to controle the flames hehe
if they catch fire alot. come back here and tell me i will seriously look into it furter more.(but as far as i know they dont catch fire that much)

      - You cant place trees arround and under the pylons. if you do want to have vegitation. first demolish the pylon and
after that add the vegitiation you like(but this glitch is accually realistic lol.)

      ---------------------------------------
This set contains 9 220kV double circuit one-level pylons wich are based on RL models.
the corner, straight and special pylons are all power-eye-candy.
But the substation pylons act like actual powerplants(wich generate about 2000MW) wich means
you don't need to plop a new powerplant or use a power cheat
everytime you create a new map.
The pylons aren't slope friendly and should only be used on flat ground.
Feel free to use the pylons for your own powerlots under the condition
that you give me credit for the pylons themselves.
If you have any issues place the issue on the forums of SC4D or Simtropolis and i will try to solve them ASAP

      Have fun!
      Buzzit

Next set: French 20kV medium voltage pylons HD 2.0(Overhauled)

Hi everyone, I'm PHBSD and always wanted to make a team here to helps me recreate some American cities in SC4. Does someone recreate real cities? And the ideia is that each one makes each city and after share their cities with the team's members. What do you think?

    • I haven't compared this to the real-life version, so I cannot comment on how faitffully you recreated it, but since I have no particular connection to that building anyway, this aspect doesn't matter to me personally. What matters more to me is that this looks like a great BAT of a tower that is both rather generic and can pop up two or three times in a big city's skyline without standing out too obviously (provided you have enough other skyscrapers, with some iconic buildings to draw most of the attention) and also pretty interesting once you zoom in and take a closer look. That base makes it more than just your average black/brown/beige/grey box with window strips. As such, it can also look great when placed in a mid-rise environment. Thank you very, very much for keeping the lot editable, too! This offers great opportunities for adaptation to different playing styles and preferences. A day with a Diego Del Llano upload is always a good day in STEX terms.
    • Boom! Another great HT here! Hope Mr Tsvirkunov will open a new factory soon in my cities! Thanks for sharing your stuff!
    • Nice idea. Should anyone have preferences or favourite buildings they recall, it would certainly help narrow down the total. Especially with the filter list on the Wayback, the accompanying preview images are there at least to give some visual indication for anyone searching. If there really are 10,000 buildings, I suppose it's not even worth uploading 10% of them given the likely inconsistencies with quality.
    • It may be worth setting up some kind of "I would like ..." topic .... people can go thru the old exchange and point out to Cori the ones that should be retrieved ... it should end up a more manageable list
    • That could be arranged. But since these are legacy files, I don't think it matters too much either way since credit would be given. If Cori would like to continue uploading these (as intended following Dirk's approval), it may be nice for her to receive the occasional Rep as a by-product reward for retrieving, packaging and uploading them here. With hundreds if not thousands of them, it'd require a mammoth effort after all. (Should the quality of content resemble anything to the old SC4 EA exchange, I'm guessing it's not worth restoring all of them.)
